2024年9月，我校高中部公民与社会发展科与中国语文科合办第一届ASJ爱国好书分享比赛，让学生透过阅读中国科学院士的科学人生，写下自己的读书感悟并走上演讲舞台，跟同学们分享自己的感悟，让大家能从中学习院士们奋发自强，心系祖国的精神。
国之脊梁
本书精选各学科领域中最具代表性的中国院士，宣扬老科学家们勇于创新的科学精神、严谨求实的治学风范和淡泊名利的人生态度。希望本书能使广大学生从此走近院士，熟悉和了解院士，从他们的人生经历中获得智慧和启迪，在科学的道路上奋勇前进，努力成为国之栋梁，为中华民族的伟大复兴贡献自己的力量。
2024年是新中国成立75周年，在新中国成长的75年岁月中，涌现出一大批国之脊梁，他们干着惊天动地的事，做着隐姓埋名的人。少年强则国强，少年进步则国进步。科学群星耀中华，院士精神代代传。
中国脊梁，分享读书感悟
在本次比赛中担任评委的嘉宾有高中部主任周晓鹏先生，公民与社会发展科何国成老师，中国语文科孙永实老师和单晓涵老师。
高一各班代表依次上台进行演讲，向老师和同学们分享自己所阅读科学家的事迹与精神，分享的科学家涉及到各个领域，有大家耳熟能详的中国航天之父钱学森，也有愿以身许国的两弹元勋王淦昌等著名物理学家。评委分别从演讲内容、语言表达、爱国情怀和形象风度四项准则进行打分。
G10班级代表依次登台结束后，10S班郑同学和程同学带来的歌曲《紫荆花盛开》，将现场气氛推向了高潮。

G10-D梁同学
很荣幸能够在此跟大家分享我的获奖感言。首先，我衷心地感谢对我做出肯定与支持的老师、评委和同学们。9月晚上，我校为了发扬民族精神，厚植爱国情怀，隆重地举行了爱国好书分享比赛。
早在开赛之前，我就已经看到多位参赛选手在场馆旁边默默练习，大家都很努力，很认真。随着选手们一个一个登场，我不禁为自己捏一把汗。每一位选手都声音洪亮，自信得体。听众们听完他们的分享后，连连拍手叫好并给予称赞。当时我在想就算输在他们手上也毫无遗憾，但我也没有打退堂鼓。我调节好心态，整理好着装，内心坚定默念：你一定行！
最后，我代表D班出场，以两分的微弱优势取得冠军，我很高兴，我很自豪。这是我首次代表D班出战并夺得冠军，这是我在ASJ的第一个里程碑。我相信我以后能有更多的机会代表D班甚至是ASJ参加各种比赛，夺得更多奖项。

当我双手接过亚军证书时，我的心中充满了无比的荣幸和感激。首先，我要向精心准备这场比赛的校方、我的老师和其他工作人员表示最深的敬意。你们的辛勤付出为我们搭建了一个展现自我、交流心得的宝贵平台。回顾整个比赛的经历，从选题构思到无数次修改与排练，每一步都凝聚了我的心血与汗水，在这个过程中，我深刻体会到了“台上一分钟，台下十年功”的真谛。
亚军成绩不仅是对我努力的认可，更是对我坚持不懈的精神的肯定。获得亚军对我来说是一个新的起点，而不是终点。它提醒我未到最佳卓越的终点线，我便要继续前行。我将带着这份荣誉与经验，不断提升自己，争取在未来的日子里为校争光，为自己书写更辉煌的篇章。

我有幸参与爱国好书分享比赛并获得季军。第一次站上ASJ的舞台，我内心的激动久久未能平息。在这个日子里参加这次比赛让我有了更多的深思。我想中国人之所以能在处在劣势时逆风翻盘，正是因为有无数热爱祖国、无私奉献的英雄们浴血奋战。就像我今日与大家分享的国之脊梁茅以升先生，他不仅是一位伟大的桥梁建筑学家，更是一位有担当的爱国者。他如同一盏明灯，照亮了我们青少年前行的道路。
通过这次比赛，我对于什么是真正的爱国情怀和担当精神有了更深刻的理解，并励志在新时代的征程中，不忘初心，牢记使命，书写属于我们自己的辉煌篇章，立志成为国之脊梁，为实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦贡献出自己的一份力量。

通过这次让学生去阅读《国之脊梁》一书里面的科学院士的典型事迹，让学生真切地体会到科学家们在生活艰苦的情况下，始终以理想为灯，奋发自强从困境中振作的精神。同时科学家们的爱国敬业的赤子情怀，无私忘我的奉献精神，求知好问的思考习惯，严谨踏实的治学态度，为学生的学习和成长提供了示范和榜样，有利于树立正确的人生观、价值观。

公社组在新学年初举办爱国好书分享比赛。本次比赛如以往般以班际形式让学生代表其班别出赛，从而带起全体学生的竞赛情绪，比赛中高潮迭起。这次比赛独特之处是在九月进行，让学生们在纪念这天的同时，不忘在我们背后为祖国奉献一生的爱国院士，一刻感动带来终生承诺。
整个比赛最令我们三位老师赞叹的便是学生们对这次比赛的全情投入，他们由获通知代表班别应赛到准备彩排只有半天时间，但无损其演讲气势，他们开口字字珠玑，爱国热情汹涌澎湃，令人动容。学生们感人肺腑之言和深刻体会，使《国之脊梁》这本好书的价值和意义全面升华。

我们举办《国之脊梁》爱国好书分享比赛对于同学们来说有特别的教育意义。我们希望通过这样的一次比赛启发同学们将国家的成长史、院士榜样的成长史与自己个人的成长联系起来，一时的成败不会定义整个人生，最重要的是找到目标，在正确的方向上倾注汗水。相信同学们在此次分享交流中已经有所收获。
On September 18, 2024, the Citizenship and Social Development and the Chinese Language Department of ASJ jointly organized the first ASJ Patriotic Book Sharing Competition to allow students to read the scientific life of academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, wrote down his reflections on reading and took to the lecture stage to share his reflections with his classmates, so that everyone can learn from the academicians’ spirit of striving for self-improvement and caring for the motherland.
Introduction to
"The Backbone of the Country"
This book selects the most representative Chinese academicians in various disciplines and promotes the innovative scientific spirit, rigorous and realistic academic style, and indifferent life attitude of the old scientists. I hope that this book will enable students to get closer to, become familiar with and understand academicians, gain wisdom and inspiration from their life experiences, move forward bravely on the road of science, strive to become the pillars of the country, and contribute their share to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation strength.
2024 is the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China. During the 75 years of New China's growth, many backbone of the country have emerged, doing earth-shattering things and being anonymous. If young people are strong, the country will be strong; if young people make progress, the country will progress. The stars of science shine brightly in China, and the spirit of academicians is passed down from generation to generation.
The guests who served as judges in this competition include Mr. Zhou Xiaopeng from the high school, Mr. He Guocheng from the Citizenship and Social Development, and Mr. Sun Yongshi and Ms. Shan Xiaohan from the Chinese Language Department.
Representatives of each class in the first grade of high school took the stage to give speeches in turn, sharing with teachers and classmates the deeds and spirit of the scientists they had read about. The scientists they shared covered various fields, including the well-known Qian Xuesen, the father of China's aerospace industry, and others who were willing to serve the country with their lives. Famous physicists such as Wang Ganchang, the father of two bombs. The judges scored based on four criteria: speech content, language expression, patriotism and image and demeanor.
After the eight first-grade high school class representatives took the stage one after another, the song "Bauhinia in Bloom" performed by classmates Zheng and Cheng from Class 10S pushed the atmosphere to a climax.

Student Liang, a student from G10-D class, won the championship with 328 points.
Student Li from class G10-Z won the runner-up with 326 points.
Student Lai from class G10-G won the third place with 314 points.
The remaining outstanding students were awarded merit awards.

G10-D Student Liang: I am honored to share my acceptance speech with you here. First, I sincerely thank the teachers, judges and classmates who have affirmed and supported me. On the evening of September 18, to carry forward the national spirit and cultivate patriotism, our school held a grand patriotic book sharing competition. Even before the competition started, I had already seen many contestants practicing silently next to the venue. Everyone was working hard and seriously. As the contestants appeared one by one, I couldn't help but sweat for myself. Every player has a strong voice and is confident. After listening to their sharing, the audience applauded and praised them. At that time, I was thinking that even if I lost to them, I would have no regrets, but I didn’t back down. I adjusted my mentality, arranged my clothes, and recited firmly in my heart: You can do it! Finally, I represented Class D and won the championship with a slight advantage of two points. I am very happy and proud. This is my first-time representing Class D and winning the championship. This is my first milestone in ASJ. I believe that I will have more opportunities to represent Class D and even ASJ in various competitions and win more awards in the future.
G10-Z Student Li: When I received the runner-up certificate with both hands, my heart was filled with great honor and gratitude. First, I would like to express my deepest respect to the school authorities, my teachers and other staff for their meticulous preparation for this game. Your hard work has built a valuable platform for us to express ourselves and exchange experiences. Looking back on the entire competition experience, from the topic selection to countless revisions and rehearsals, every step has condensed my hard work and sweat. In this process, I deeply realized the meaning of "one minute on stage, ten years of work off stage" The truth. The runner-up result is not only recognition of my efforts, but also affirmation of my perseverance. Winning second place is a new starting point for me, not an end. G10-G Student Lai: Today, I was honored to participate in the patriotic book sharing competition and won the third place. The first time I stood on the ASJ stage, I was so excited that I couldn't calm down for a long time. Participating in this competition on this special day gave me more food for thought. I think the reason why the Chinese people were able to make a comeback when they were at a disadvantage was precisely because of the bloody battles of countless heroes who loved the motherland and made selfless sacrifices. Just like Mr. Mao Yisheng, the backbone of the country that I share with you today, he is not only a great bridge architect, but also a responsible patriot. He is like a beacon, illuminating the path forward for our young people. What impressed our three teachers most about the whole competition was the students’ full devotion to the competition. They only had half a day from being notified to represent the class to preparing for the competition, but this did not affect the momentum of their speeches. They spoke every word clearly, the patriotic enthusiasm is surging and moving. The students’ touching words and profound insights fully enhanced the value and significance of the good book "The Backbone of the Country".
Ms. Shao: We held the "The Backbone of the Country" patriotic book sharing competition on September 18th, which has special educational significance for the students.
