On November 7, a video circulated on social media claiming that a stabbing incident occurred in the Yuyuan Community of Yuelu District, Changsha, Hunan Province, resulting in multiple fatalities. Residents of the Yuyuan Community reported seeing a police cordon set up along the road near the scene in the morning. One resident noted that messages in the community's online chat group indicated that three people had been killed. Another resident mentioned that the area has a large night market, and the incident occurred near a barbecue restaurant. Later that evening, reporters confirmed details from the Yuelu District Government, who stated that the incident occurred around 4 a.m. on November 7 at a barbecue restaurant within the Yuyuan Community. An argument between the victims and the restaurant owner reportedly escalated into violence. The identities of the perpetrator and the victims remain unclear, but the incident resulted in three deaths. The suspect has since been detained by the police. A staff member from the local subdistrict office confirmed that multiple agencies, including the police and the street office, are currently handling the situation.
