The suspected closure of Kingswood School Beijing in Shunyi District, Beijing, has raised concerns. Some parents report that the contact number listed on the school’s official website is either disconnected or goes unanswered, leading to further suspicion that the school has already ceased operations.
Kingwood School Beijing was established in September 2013, funded with significant investment from the Bohua Baixiao Education Group. The school officially began enrolling students in the fall of 2014 and rebranded in April 2018. It offered only preschool and elementary programs, with an annual tuition of 100,000 RMB, though its website indicated it held licenses for kindergarten through high school.
According to relevant authorities in Shunyi District, the school was officially closed in late August. At the time of closure, the school had nearly 60 students, all of whom have since been appropriately reassigned—some to other international schools and others to public schools within the district.
Earlier this year, according to Beijing Education Examinations Authority, 北京市房山区诺德安达学校（学校代码211017）2024年停止招生 Nord Anglia School, Bejing, Fangshagn suspended enrollment of high school students.
