YMCE Jr. Rugby, in partnership with ELOX, is excited to offer free trials for new students interested in joining their upcoming rugby season in Shanghai this autumn! The season is already underway, and they've scheduled exciting games with other clubs for both PUXI and PUDONG. Their dedicated coaches are working hard to train and condition players for the challenges ahead. REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!
Originally founded in Beijing in 2021, they are thrilled to expand with their second and third Jr. Rugby locations. With a deep passion for the sport, they are committed to helping both new and experienced players develop their skills and love for rugby!
YMCE rugby is a touch & contact rugby program, looking to build towards competition in both in the region. They welcome older players looking for more contact and skills.
Come and be part of their autumn gathering, where Chinese and expat families join together, united by the love of rugby and the shared goal of fostering the growth and learning of their children!

Last season, the YMCE Dragons Shanghai had the honour of hosting the Shanghai Seahorses for a few rugby tournaments at BISS PUXI. They also have a sister club, YMCE Dragons Beijing tour down for the JAM Tournament. The event, featuring games for each age group and format of Rugby, provided a day of enjoyment for all participating students. The tournament proved as a great success. With great display of the skills learned and displayed on the day the YMCE Dragons teams all finished in the top four teams for the day in each group. With snacks and drinks available at all their events, the tournament days turned out to be a resounding success. There are discussions underway to expand the tournament, welcoming more teams from Beijing and other regions to join in the upcoming season. They extend an invitation for you to be a part of this growth and become a valued member of their rugby family!

YMCE Jr Rugby prioritizes fun as we guide our players through a program that imparts diverse rugby skills tailored to their developmental stages in the sport.
Contact drills are typically introduced in the later stages of the program and are specifically designated for our older participants. Their objective is to prepare our kids for both touch rugby and contact rugby competitions.
