YMCE Jr Rugby, in collaboration with ELOX, is thrilled to share the news of kicking off our next season in Shanghai this Autumn! We are excited to announce that we will have two locations, one in PUXI and one in PUDONG. Our coaches are actively getting in shape and gearing up for the training sessions and registration is NOW OPEN!
Established in Beijing in 2021, this marks our second and third Jr Rugby locations. With an unwavering passion for rugby, we are committed to educating both seasoned and new players about this sport that holds a special place in our hearts!
YMCE rugby is a touch & contact rugby program, looking to build towards competition in both in the region. We welcome older players looking for more contact and skills.
Come and be part of our Autumn gathering, where Chinese and expat families join together, united by the love of rugby and the shared goal of fostering the growth and learning of their children!

Last season, the YMCE Dragons Shanghai had the honour of hosting the Shanghai Seahorses for a few rugby tournaments at BISS PUXI. We also had our sister club, YMCE Dragons Beijing tour down for the JAM Tournament. The event, featuring games for each age group and format of Rugby, provided a day of enjoyment for all participating students. The tournament proved as a great success. With great display of the skills learned and displayed on the day the YMCE Dragons teams as finished in the top four teams for the day in each group. With snacks and drinks available at all our events, the tournament days turned out to be a resounding success. There are discussions underway to expand the tournament, welcoming more teams from Beijing and other regions to join in the upcoming season. We extend an invitation for you to be a part of this growth and become a valued member of our rugby family!

YMCE Jr Rugby prioritizes fun as we guide our players through a program that imparts diverse rugby skills tailored to their developmental stages in the sport.
Contact drills are typically introduced in the later stages of the program and are specifically designated for our older participants. Our objective is to prepare our kids for both touch rugby and contact rugby competitions.
