PYP为学生提供许多正式和非正式的机会,让他们通过所开展的探究展示他们如何发展和应用他们的知识、概念性理解、技能和学习者培养目标中的各种特质。在成果展中,学生将展示他们对选择探索的问题或机会的理解。我园于4月25/26举办了为期两天、共四场主题为“和谐共生之当中华传统文化融入国际视野”的第十届语文节暨IB超学科主题学习成果展。

IB PYP provides many formal and informal opportunities for students to demonstrate through inquiry, how they are developing and applying their knowledge, conceptual understanding, skills, and the various attributes of the Learner Profile. At the school’s IB PYP Pre-Nursery, Nursery, and Lower Classes Student-Led Conferences and Upper Classes Exhibition, students demonstrated and shared their learning with parents, and with the greater school community. 

On April 25th and 26th, the school also hosted a Literacy Festival, in addition to the IB PYP Student-Led Conferences and Exhibition. The theme for this year’s Literacy Festival was, "Harmonious Coexistence: When Traditional Chinese Culture Integrates with Perspectives from the International Community”.

活动现场呈现了一场融合传统与现代的文化盛宴。从古典乐器到现代文化,从传统手工艺到创新成果项目,每一项展示都彰显了小朋友对多元文化融合的理解与表达,以及他们对世界的开放与探索。

The event presented a cultural

celebration, combining tradition and modernity. From classical musical instruments to modern culture, from traditional handicrafts to creative exhibitions, each program demonstrated the children's understanding and expression of multicultural fusion, as well as their openness and exploration of the world.

此次学习成果展是学生能动性的有力呈现,整个过程,由小朋友发起,与老师一起设计并协作完成的。在班级展示时,小小班级组将“颜色和形状”主题内容和音乐活动进行融合,孩子们享受其中同时也展示了自己的学习成果;小班级组将“我们如何表达自己”通过玩游戏的方式进行融合和呈现;中大班级组则通过故事情境全英文表演进行展示他们的学习之旅。

The IB PYP Student-Led Conferences and Exhibition are activities where students demonstrate their agency. The contents of the IB PYP Student-Led Conferences and Exhibition were planned by the students and designed by students and teachers together. For the Pre-Nursery classes, students shared their learning of "Colors and Shapes”, through musical activities. For the Nursery classes, students shared their learning and understanding of the transdisciplinary theme, "How we express ourselves" through playing games. For the Lower classes IB PYP Student-Led Conference and the Upper classes IB PYP Exhibition, students shared their learning and understanding of the transdisciplinary theme, "How we express ourselves" by performing stories in English.

活动现场,老师和小朋友还在自己的班级还设置了丰富多彩的互动体验环节,鼓励小朋友和家长到访不同班级,感受不同优秀传统文化的魅力和与国际融合的现代氛围。有大班小朋友惊喜告诉老师:我数了一下,我们全园有100多个游戏哦!

In addition, at the IB PYP Student-Led Conferences and Exhibition, students had the opportunity to interact with classmates and parents, and share thoughts, ideas, information, and questions with them. There are nearly 100 games waitting for them to explore.

孔美琪博士、吴嘉愉校董、肖芳校长、香港铜锣湾幼稚园近40年的资深教师们对我们小朋友们展现的IB探究学习力、个性化思维、学生能动性、培养目标等超越知识本身让孩子们受益的核心素养证据大加赞赏。

Dr. Maggie Koong, Miss. Melanie, Principal Xiao, and teachers of Causeway Bay Victoria Kindergarten & International Nursery with nearly 40 years teaching experiences applauded students for their IB inquiry learning skills, individualized childhood leadership, agency, etc.

感谢社群大朋友们的积极支持与参与,黄埔雅苑校区第十届语文节成果展圆满落幕,立足国际视野,老师和小朋友们不仅仅满足于对中华优秀传统的保护、传承,还积极探索其与现代文明的对话方式,展现了传统与现代、东方与西方的交融之美。我们期待着未来,我们能继续在IB教育的道路上迈出更坚实的步伐,为小朋友的成长与发展搭建更加广阔的舞台。

The Shenzhen Victoria Kindergarten (Le Parc) 10th Annual Literacy Festival and IB Student-Led Conferences and Exhibition was a great success. Students did a fabulous job demonstrating and sharing their learning of the integration of Chinese traditional culture and international perspectives, of tradition and modernity, and of East and West. We look forward to the future, and continuously take solid steps on the road of cultural and international education to build a broader stage for children. Thank you to parents who support our work.
