良好的学习者社群，离不开学校和家长的共同努力。且让我们先一起来看一看，作为学习者社区的小主角，他们是如何发挥他们的领导力及主人翁意识的。
A strong and supportive learning community, requires effort, coordination and communication from parents, teachers, and students. To get the classroom ready and organised for the Parents Orientation Evening, students demonstrated their sense of agency (voice, choice, and ownership), and prepared the classroom and sent Parent Orientation invitation cards to their mom’s and dad’s.

本次家长会分为两场进行，家长们受邀参与和体验幼儿日常探究过程，体验TC英语课堂，还变身阅读小超人。
The Parent Orientation Evenings were held over two nights. At the Orientation sessions, in addition to parents having the opportunity to learn about the daily happenings at the kindergarten, parents also got the chance to take part and experience a mini-English reading class and become superhero readers!

在探讨的过程中，有些家长被赋予了一项任务，他们带着探究精神与其他家长开展交流和写作。
Parents inquired, communicated and shared their learning with their parent- peers.
有些家长还在老师引领下开展了正念练习，思索：我们希望把什么样的世界带给孩子，透过简单的冥想，清晰教育的意图。
Some parents also took part in mindfulness and medication activities. Currently, at our school, we are working with students and encouraging them express their feelings and emotions in a positive manner.
有些家长家长能够亲眼看到他们的孩子们在学校接受的教育质量以及IB课程的挑战性但有趣的性质。在与老师和其他家长的充分互动中，增进了了解与友谊。
Through the Parent Orientation Evening, many parents were able to experience and learn more about the high quality education that the school is offering through its IB PYP framework and TCRWP literacy curriculum. Parents had fun and enjoyed learning, and interacting with other parents, and teachers.

更有些家长和老师就课程、教学方法和评估策略提出问题，进行深入探讨，进一步加强了家长和教师之间合作共育的教育理念。
At the Parent Orientation Evening, the classroom teachers held a Q & A Session for parents. By having the chance to ask questions, and learn more about the school’s curriculum, teaching and learning methods, and assessment program, the relationship and connection between parents, teachers and the school, was further developed and strengthened!
家长是学习者社区中的重要组成部分，我们将持续推进终生学习者社区的构建工作，感谢家长们的支持与融入！相信家校共同的努力，一定可以帮助小朋友们创造一个更具选择权，话语权，自主权的学习成长环境。
Parents are an integral part of the learning community. As a school, we will continue to strive and look for meaningful ways to involve and integrate parents into their child’s learning and school-life. Thank you to all parents for being active, engaged, and for supporting their child and encouraging him/her to be independent and have his/her own agency!
