Chick-hatching time is like the biggest festival to the chickens.
Seeing fluffy chick babies coming out of the eggshells one by one, mother hens and father roosters are all smiling. They are busy feeding their babies with the best food they can find.
They also hug, kiss, and tickle them. This is the time chick babies can act spoiled. The chicken coop is filled with joy and happiness.
Carmelito alone is unhappy. He stares into emptiness and asks himself, "Why don't I have a little brother?"
孵小鸡的时候，是全鸡舍最盛大的节日。
看到一只只毛茸茸的小宝贝破壳而出，鸡爸爸、鸡妈妈们高兴得眉开眼笑，他们给宝贝们喂好吃的，又是抱、又是亲，还逗他们开心……忙得不亦乐乎。
只有卡梅利多独自在一旁发愣，他感到郁闷和孤独：“为什么我没有一个小弟弟呢？”
All the chicks act like spoiled brats the whole morning.
Carmen and Carmelito are also snuggling in their mother's arms,
"Yes, Mom, please make some room for us!"
Carmela shifts a bit and holds them under her wings.
Father Pitikok has already gotten up and begun his daily work—waking the sun up.
早上的撒娇可真够热闹的！
卡门和卡梅利多也钻进卡梅拉的怀里，“嗯，妈妈也给我让个位子呀！”
卡梅拉挪了挪身子，将他们搂在翅膀下面，就像从前那样。
爸爸皮迪克早就开始了每天的工作——叫醒太阳。
