Ailao Mountain not Only Has Pigments

Ailao Mountains are located in central Yunnan Province, marking the boundary between the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and the Hengduan Mountains, and serving as the watershed between Yuanjiang River and Amo River. After tens of thousands of years of vertical crustal movement, the towering Ailao Mountains were formed. Combined with the local lower latitude, these factors collectively determine the most prominent landscape feature of the mountains: a distinct vertical distribution of vegetation. With 1,813 species of higher plants distributed here, and with more than 400 species of wildlife finding their homes here.

哀牢山位于云南省中部，属于云贵高原和横断山脉的分界线，是元江和阿墨江的分水岭。经过数万年的地壳垂直运动，高大磅礴的哀牢山体得以形成，加上当地较低的纬度。这些共同决定了山区最显著的景观特征：植被垂直分布明显。这里分布着1813种高等植物，474种野生动物在这里安家。

In early spring, in February, the mountains are adorned with flowers, turning green as butterflies and bees flutter and dance. Traveling during this season also allows one to enjoy the famous "Three Treasures of Ailao Spring." 

早春二月山花烂漫，山也返绿，蝶飞蜂舞；这个季节去旅行还能享用著名的“哀牢春三珍”。

The summertime in Ailao Mountains is a natural oxygen bar and the best season to visit the Ancient Tea Horse Road. The remnants of Qianjiazhai ruins, the stone arches of the iron-smelting furnaces at the ancient road's post stations, and the hoof prints on the blue stone slabs all silently narrate the prosperity of the ancient southern Yunnan thoroughfare and the legendary stories of the horse caravan. A visit to the Ancient Tea Horse Road must not miss Shimen Gorge. A clear stream flows out from the heart of Ailao Mountains, passing through a nearly 1-kilometer-long rocky gorge with a "one-line sky" terrain. The stream water is clear to the bottom, surrounded by dense forests, making people feel refreshed and at ease. Sitting in a small bamboo raft, watching the mountains and springs, and breathing the moist air, one feels like being in a fairyland.

夏天的哀牢山是天然氧吧，也是最适合游览茶马古道的季节，千家寨遗址的残砖断瓦、古道驿站上当年炼铁炉的石拱门，青石板上的马蹄窝印记，都在静静诉说着昔日滇南大通道的繁荣盛景和马帮的传奇故事。行至茶马古道就一定不能错过石门峡，从哀牢山腹中流出的清澈溪流，穿过近1公里“一线天”地形的岩石峡谷，溪水清澈见底，四周森林茂密，让人心旷神怡。坐在小竹筏中看群山、泉水，呼吸着湿润的空气，仿若置身于仙境之中。

The most noteworthy sight in Ailao Mountains during autumn is the Nan'en Waterfall. "Nan'en" means silver-white water in Dai language. Starting from Xinping towards Ailao Mountains, the journey is filled with green mountains and clear waters, and Nan'en Waterfall can be seen by the roadside. The waterfall is at its fullest and most spectacular during summer and autumn. Upon entering, it looks like a dragon dancing in the night sky. Listening to the roaring sound of the 100-meter-high waterfall, one marvels at the magnificent power of nature. 

秋季的哀牢山最值得一看的就是南恩瀑布，“南恩”在傣语中是银白色的水的意思。从新平向哀牢山出发，一路青山绿水，满眼风景，在路边便能看到南恩瀑布。夏秋时节，是瀑布水量最大的时候，也是最壮观的季节。入眼便是犹如巨龙舞宵，听着落差高达100米瀑布的轰鸣声，惊叹于大自然的磅礴伟力。

The winter in Ailao Mountains is the stage for sea of clouds. The sunrise viewing platform on the Donggualin cliff in Yaonan Village on the west side of Jiasa is an excellent spot to watch the sea of clouds and sunrise. Sunrise is the most beautiful time for the sea of clouds. As the sun slowly rises, the color of the clouds changes from dark gray to grayish white and gradually turns golden yellow. When the red sun bursts out from the clouds, the view is filled with rolling waves of clouds and skies filled with glowing light.

冬季的哀牢是云海的舞台，戛洒西侧的耀南村冬瓜林悬崖上的日出观景台，是看云海日出的绝佳地。日出之时，是云海最美的时候。随着太阳慢慢升起，云层的颜色由黑灰变灰白，再逐渐变成金黄。当红日从云雾中喷薄而出，视线所及皆是波起云涌，霞光漫天。

Located in Yuanyang County, Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province, the Hani Terraces are a monumental non-verbal historical record left by the Hani people. They creatively developed this farming model by adapting to local conditions, utilizing the mountainous terrain of Yuanyang with its high mountains and deep valleys, and its crisscrossing gullies. French anthropologist Dr.Eugène praised, "The Hani terraces are true earth art, true earth sculptures, and the Hani people are true earth artists!"

位于云南红河元阳县的哈尼梯田是哈尼族人留在时间的一部巨型非文字史书。他们因地制宜，利用元阳山高谷深，沟壑纵横的山地地形，创造性地开创了这一耕地模式。法国人类学家欧也纳博士盛赞：“哈尼族的梯田是真正的大地艺术，是真正的大地雕塑，而哈尼族就是真正的大地艺术家！”

Jigong Mountain in Xinyang, Henan Province, one of China's four major summer resorts, enjoying the reputation of "Qing divides Henan and Hubei, and is the throat of three rivers." It boasts eight natural landscapes: "Buddha's light, sea of clouds, rime, silver thaw, glow, exotic flowers and plants, peculiar peaks and rocks, and waterfalls and springs." The various architectural clusters on the mountain are hailed as the "Museum of International Architecture."

Dashanbao in Zhaotong, Yunnan Province, where the view in spring and summer is an endless grassland, turning into a vast green sea adorned with wildflowers in autumn, and becoming a wintering ground for black-necked cranes in winter. Although the landscapes vary in each season, being amidst them fills one with a gentle yet firm force, planting a sense of nature's touch in the heart and making people forget the hustle and bustle of the world.

Mount Roraima in central South America, the highest peak of the Pakaraima Mountains, known as "God's Table." The summit of Mount Roraima is perpetually shrouded in clouds, resembling a fairyland. During the day, sunlight pierces through the clouds, casting dappled light and shadow, making every rock shimmer with golden light; at night, stars hang low, and the Milky Way spans the horizon, seemingly within reach.
