Abstract: In Yuanyin Primary School, an enchanting sound, namely 'FM709 - The Voice of Yuanyin', the English radio station of the school, can be heard. Each Wednesday, it permeates every nook and cranny of the campus. Our 'Voice of Yuanyin', which has established a variety of broadcasting sections, serves as a platform for cultivating students' personality development and enhancing their oral English proficiency. It enables children to shine brightly and acquire growth and confidence in the realm of English.
在四川天府新区元音小学校，有一个充满魅力的声音——元音小学英语广播“FM709-The Voice of Yuanyin”，每周三会传遍校园的每个角落。我们的“元音之声”设置了多个播报板块，是学校培养学生个性发展、锻炼口语能力的舞台，能让孩子们在英语的世界里尽情绽放光彩，收获成长与自信。
今天，来自三年级三班的文思睿和龚诗桐两位同学将为大家带来精彩的中华传统节日——重阳节的介绍，我们一起来听听吧！
重阳节，又称重九节，在每年农历九月初九。这一古老节日历史悠久，承载着深厚的文化底蕴。古时，人们有登高远眺、赏菊、佩茱萸等习俗，寓意着驱邪避灾、祈福长寿。如今，重阳节更是尊老、敬老、爱老的节日，人们向长辈表达感恩之情，弘扬中华民族传统美德。它提醒着我们关爱老人，传承孝道，让温暖在家庭与社会中流淌。
文思睿
大家好，我叫文思睿，来自元音小学三年级3班。我喜欢学习、阅读，还超爱运动，这学期我终于当上了心心念念的体育委员。我有很多的伙伴，和他们在一起玩耍是非常开心的事情。悄悄告诉你，我还是一个出色的鼓手哦！希望我们以后也能成为好朋友！

大家好，我叫龚诗桐，来自好吃又好玩的乐山市，我平时爱好画画和看书，看书能让我读到很多有趣的故事，了解到的广阔和多彩的世界，画画时能描绘出我心中快乐的场景。课余时间，我还喜欢跳绳、篮球等运动，希望在元音小学交到更多的好朋友。

Hello ,everyone！Welcome to the Voice of Yuanyin. Today, We will share a Chinese traditional festival with you.------- the Chong Yang Festival. which has a history of more than 1,700 years. It is celebrated on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month. It usually falls in October in the Gregorian calendar. In an ancient and mysterious book Yi Jing (The Book of Changes), number "6" was thought to be of Yin character, while number "9" was thought to be Yang. So the number nine in both month and day creates "the Double Ninth Festival", or "Chongyang Festival".
There are some traditional customs of the Double Ninth Festival.What do you know?
Climbing Mountains：The 9th lunar month, with clear autumn sky and bracing air, is a good time for sightseeing. So people, both ancient and present, love to go sightseeing this month.
Enjoying Chrysanthemum Flowers：Chrysanthemum originated in China and was recorded in some Chinese books as early as the 5th century B.C. Chrysanthemum blossom in the ninth lunar month have a beautiful name of “flower of longevity”.
Drinking Chrysanthemum Flower Wine：In ancient times，people usually picked fresh chrysanthemum flowers and leaves on the 9th of the 9th lunar month, and brewed the mixture of them and grains into the wine.
Eating Double Ninth Cake：It is said that the cake was originally prepared after autumn harvests for farmers to have a taste of what was just in season, and it gradually grew into the present cake for people to eat on the Double Ninth Day.
