Abstract: In Yuanyin Primary School, an enchanting sound, namely 'FM709 - The Voice of Yuanyin', the English radio station of the school, can be heard. Each Wednesday, it permeates every nook and cranny of the campus. Our 'Voice of Yuanyin', which has established a variety of broadcasting sections, serves as a platform for cultivating students' personality development and enhancing their oral English proficiency. It enables children to shine brightly and acquire growth and confidence in the realm of English.
在四川天府新区元音小学校，有一个充满魅力的声音——元音小学英语广播“FM709-The Voice of Yuanyin”，每周三会传遍校园的每个角落。我们的“元音之声”设置了多个播报板块，是学校培养学生个性发展、锻炼口语能力的舞台，能让孩子们在英语的世界里尽情绽放光彩，收获成长与自信。
今天，来自三年级四班的成煜堃炜和吴艺晨两位同学将为大家带来精彩的故事——《城市老鼠和乡村老鼠》，我们一起来听听吧！
只生活在城市里的老鼠，享受着城市的繁华与丰富的食物资源。它住在人类的房屋中，时常穿梭于各种食品柜和厨房之间，能找到各种美味。然而，它的生活也充满了危险，随时可能被人类发现并驱赶，还要警惕猫等动物的追捕。尽管物质丰富，但它总是处于紧张和不安之中，时刻为自己的生存担忧。在与乡村老鼠的对比中，它的生活虽然看似富足，却远没有乡村老鼠的生活安稳宁静。
成煜堃炜
大家好，我叫成煜堃炜，来自天府新区元音小学三年级四班的一名富有朝气的小元宝。我爱好广泛，喜欢英语、书法、音乐、足球、乒乓球、围棋等，也喜欢看漫画和侦探类的书籍。我热衷于足球和乒乓球。在足球场上尽情奔跑，挥洒汗水，感受团队协作的力量；在乒乓球台前挥舞球拍，一来一往之间，锻炼自己的敏捷与反应能力。我性格外向，活泼、开朗，喜欢交朋友，也乐于帮助同学。我爱我的班级，我的老师和同学，爱元音小学这个大家庭。
吴艺晨
大家好！我是来自天府新区元音小学三年级四班的吴艺晨。我有很多爱好，但最擅长的要数吹竹笛了。音乐让我的生活充满了乐趣，也让我学会了坚持和努力。除了吹竹笛，我还特别喜欢跳舞。每当音乐响起，我就会不由自主地跟着节奏摇摆起来。我喜欢跳中国舞，也是校舞蹈队的一员。跳舞不仅让我的身体变得更加灵活，也让我更加自信。我相信在元音小学的学习和生活中，我能够不断进步，成为一个更加优秀的新时代好少年。
The Voice of Yuanyin

Once there were two mice. They were friends. One mouse lived in the country; the other mouse lived in the city. The country mouse was very happy in his simple home.He had plenty of food from the fields and a cozy little hole to sleep in. One day, the city mouse came to visit the country mouse. The country mouse was very happy to see his friend. He showed the city mouse around his home and gave him some food. The city mouse looked at the food and said, “The food is not good. The house is not good, either. You should come and live in the city. There is so much delicious food. There are many beautiful houses, too ”
The country mouse was curious and decided to go to the city with his friend. When they arrived in the city, the country mouse was amazed by the big houses and busy streets. The city mouse took the country mouse to his home. It was a very good house. The food was very nice, too. But when they were eating, they heard a great noise.
The city mouse cried,“Run! Run! The cat is coming.”They were so scared that they hid quickly. After a while, when it was quiet again, they came out and continued to eat. But then another noise came and they had to hide again. The country mouse said, “This is too dangerous. I want to go back to my peaceful country home.”
So the country mouse went back to the country and was happy again in his simple life. The country mouse said:“I do not like living in the city. I like living in my hole in the field. It is nicer to be poor and happy than to be rich and afraid.”
Everyone has their own idea of a good life. What is best for one person may not be best for another.
