Abstract: In Yuanyin Primary School, an enchanting sound, namely 'FM709 - The Voice of Yuanyin', the English radio station of the school, can be heard. Each Wednesday, it permeates every nook and cranny of the campus. Our 'Voice of Yuanyin', which has established a variety of broadcasting sections, serves as a platform for cultivating students' personality development and enhancing their oral English proficiency. It enables children to shine brightly and acquire growth and confidence in the realm of English.
在四川天府新区元音小学校，有一个充满魅力的声音——元音小学英语广播“FM709-The Voice of Yuanyin”，每周三会传遍校园的每个角落。我们的“元音之声”设置了多个播报板块，是学校培养学生个性发展、锻炼口语能力的舞台，能让孩子们在英语的世界里尽情绽放光彩，收获成长与自信。
今天，来自三年级五班的巫明希和樊宸睿同学将为大家带来精彩的英文中草药文化，我们一起来听听吧！
巫明希
大家好！我是来自于三年级五班的巫明希。我特别喜欢跳舞，每次跳舞都像在舞台上飞翔。我还热爱画画，可以用画笔描绘我心中的故事。羽毛球也是我喜欢的运动，它让我充满活力。我也很喜欢英语，想用它去了解更大的世界。
樊宸睿
我叫樊宸睿，我是一个活泼的小男孩，性格有点倔强，遇到事情也会坚持自己的想法，因为妈妈说过要相信自己才能成功。平时我喜欢画画，用色彩图画自己的小世界，对好玩有趣的东西总是充满了好奇心，喜欢一探究竟。我也喜欢交朋友，享受和睦相处的感觉，享受一起学习、共同成长的快乐。我的梦想是长大以后能成为一名老师，能永远在知识的海洋里畅游，为了我的理想，我要做一名优秀的小学生，好好学习，天天向上。

“春草明年绿，王孙归不归？”这是唐代诗人王维的《送别》诗，诗中的“王孙”是黄芪的别称。黄芪，旧作“黄耆”，被李时珍称为“补药之长”。黄芪是中国较早发现的药用补品之一，其名字的来历，有一段感人的故事：相传，古代有一位善良的老人，善针灸术，为人厚道，待人谦和，一生乐于救助他人，老人身形消瘦，面部肌肤淡黄，人们尊称为“黄耆”。后来因救坠崖儿童而献身，老人去世后，人们为了纪念他，便将老人墓旁生长的一种具有甜味又能补气、止汗、利水消肿、除毒生肌作用的草药称为“黄芪”，并用它救治了很多病人，在民间广为流传。黄芪是中药中最基本的用于提高肺与呼吸系统免疫能力的药材，可以用于因免疫力低下导致的虚汗病症，也可以用于补气和增进脾脏功能。在这个时节，我们就可以用黄芪泡水来喝，帮助我们提高呼吸系统的免疫力。最近流感频发，我们要勤洗手、多运动、重预防。最后，祝老师和同学们身体健健康康，工作和学业顺顺利利，谢谢大家！
Today, we are going to share a story about Chinese herbal medicine with you—Huang Qi.“Will the grass be green in the coming spring, and will the friends be reunited?”This is a poem by Wang Wei. In this poem, “Wang sun” is another name for Huang Qi. Huang Qi is a traditional Chinese herbal medicine. Li Shizhen called it "the king of tonics".Huang qi is one of the earliest medicinal tonics found in China. There's a touching story behind its name. Long ago, there was a kind old man who was good at acupuncture. He was honest, humble and always willing to help others. He had a thin body and pale yellow skin. People called him "Huang Qi". One day, a child fell off a cliff. People were very worried.Huang Qi wanted to help the child. But then came the bad news.Huang Qi died while saving the child. Everyone was sad.After the old man's death, people named the herb growing next to his grave “Huang Qi”. This herb has a sweet taste. It can add vitality, stop sweating, reduce swelling, remove toxins and help heal wounds.It has helped many sick people. And its story has spread among the people.“Huang Qi” is a basic Chinese medicine for helping the immune system of the lungs.It can be used for excessive sweating caused by a weak immune system. It also helps to gather strength and improve health.During this time of the year, we can drink water with “Huang Qi” to keep fit.With flu cases being common lately, we should always keep washing our hands and do more exercise to stay away from the flu.
