A new list of recognized "Lighthouse Factories" was recently released, with the Wuxi supply base of United Kingdom-based biopharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca, successfully making the cut. This marks the second pharmaceutical company in China and the first in Jiangsu Province to achieve this distinction. With this addition, the Wuxi National High-Tech District (WND) now boasts three "Lighthouse Factories," solidifying its position as the national high-tech zone with the highest number of these distinguished facilities.

自2001年投入运营，阿斯利康无锡供应基地不断发展，现已成为阿斯利康供应网络内的战略性供应基地，为全球逾70个市场供应超过20个品牌的产品。今年3月，阿斯利康与高新区签署4.75亿美元无锡小分子药物新工厂投资合作协议并举行奠基仪式。

Since its launch in 2001, AstraZeneca's Wuxi supply base has consistently expanded, evolving into a strategic supply hub within the AstraZeneca global network. It currently supplies over 20 branded products to more than 70 markets worldwide. In March of this year, AstraZeneca and the WND signed a $475 million investment agreement for a new small-molecule drug factory in Wuxi, followed by a groundbreaking ceremony.

近日，2024年江苏省首台（套）重大装备名单公布，来自无锡高新区的卓海科技、日联科技、同联机电、氢导智能研发制造的装备成功入选，入选数量占全市1/3，居全市第一。

The 2024 Jiangsu Province list of "First Unit (Set) of Crucial Equipment" was recently announced, featuring four innovative products from WND companies. These companies are Wuxi Zhuohai Technology, Wuxi Unicomp Technology, Wuxi Top-Link Engineering, and Wuxi Lead Intelligent Equipment. This achievement accounts for a third of the total number of selections from Wuxi, ranking first in the city.

截止目前，全区累计获认江苏省首台（套）重大装备42项，总数居全市第一。未来，高新区将持续做好高端装备制造产业集群服务，推动重点产业链发展，持续引导更多装备企业开展技术创新，建设自主可控的先进制造业集群，加快培育新质生产力，持续激活发展新动能。

To date, the district has accumulated a total of 42 recognitions for Jiangsu Province's "First Unit (Set) of Crucial Equipment," solidifying its position as the leading district in this category. Looking ahead, the WND will continue to provide comprehensive services for its high-end equipment manufacturing cluster, promoting the development of key industrial chains. The district plans to actively encourage equipment manufacturers to pursue technological innovation, with the goal of establishing a self-reliant and advanced manufacturing cluster. This proactive approach will accelerate the cultivation of a new type of productive forces and consistently generate new growth momentum.

9月26日，2024年中国国际智能传播论坛在锡举行。现场，哔哩哔哩电子竞技俱乐部项目正式签约落户位于无锡（国家）软件园的新吴区电子竞技产业基地。

The 2024 China International Intelligent Communication Forum took place in Wuxi on Sept 26. During the event, a formal agreement was signed for the Bilibili Gaming Club to establish its base at the Esports Industry Base, located within the Wuxi National Software Park in the WND, also known as Xinwu District.

此次哔哩哔哩电子竞技俱乐部签约落户新吴区，一方面将为俱乐部在电竞产业中的发展提供更广阔的空间和更有利的条件，也将成为无锡市文化电竞产业的新起点。俱乐部将积极参与新吴区电子竞技产业基地的建设和发展，与高新区共同打造创新型、国际化的电子竞技生态体系，吸引更多年轻人来到无锡、留在无锡。
