Cycling Made Easier in and Around Olympic Park

Over 5000 meters of border fencing has been taken down around Olympic Park in an effort to make it easier for cyclists to roam freely at any time of day, reports Beijing Traffic Radio. Additionally, opening and closing times have been done away with, and cycling routes have also been added to areas of the park and sports complex.

Traffic Controls in Place for Beijing Marathon

Traffic controls will be in place throughout Nov 3 for the 2024 Beike Beijing Marathon, according to various local media. Set to commence at 7am on Sunday, the race will snake from Tian'anmen to the west and up north, where it will end in Olympic Park.

Temperatures to Drop to Lowest Point This Season

Beijing's meteorological authority says temperatures will drop to 0 C on Nov 3, the lowest this season, according to Beijing Evening News. The low temps follow recent fog in the capital, with pollution also seeing an uptick this past week, during which an alert was issued on Thursday.
