Drivers of cross-sector partnerships between commercial firms, NGOs, and governmental bodies.
The role of inalienable rights, such as fairness, justice, inclusion when firms build cross-sector partnerships.
Barriers to building cross-sector partnerships.
Impetus and opportunities for firms to develop cross-sector partnerships.
Motivations of industrial firms to negotiate cross-sector partnerships.
How do companies co-create value in cross-sector partnerships?
How do companies develop and manifest a shared vision and shared values in cross-sector partnerships?
What kind of tangible and intangible resources are being pulled together and leveraged in cross-sector partnerships?
Processes of inter-firm interaction in building cross-sector partnerships.
Contractual arrangements in cross-sector partnerships.
Micro-foundations of cross-sector partnerships (e.g., understanding inter-action).
Manuscript submission information:
Papers submitted must not have been published, accepted for publication, or presently be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submissions should be about 6,000-8,000 words in length. Copies should be uploaded on Industrial Marketing Management’s submission system(https://www.editorialmanager.com/immgt/default2.aspx) by using the dropdown box for the special issue on VSI: Cross-sector partnership. All papers will be handled according to the guidelines (Kadic-Maglajlic et al., 2023) for guest editing of special issues of Industrial Marketing Management.
