段成国

段成国,中国科学院分子植物科学卓越创新中心研究员,特聘研究骨干,2008年博士毕业于中国科学院微生物所,2018年入选“国家级海外人才计划”青年项目。主要从事表观遗传与植物-病原互作研究。研究方向包括:植物免疫的表观遗传塑造机制;植物-病原真菌互作机制及抗病策略开发。近五年以通讯作者在Nat Commun, PNAS, Mol Plant, Cell Rep, New Phytol等国际主流期刊发表论文20余篇。

Dr. Cheng-Guo Duan, professor of CAS Center for Excellence in Molecular Plant Sciences, graduated from the Institute of Microbiology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008. In 2018, he was selected into "Science Fund Program for Distinguished Young Scholars of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Overseas)". Dr. Cheng-Guo Duan works on the epigenetics and plant-pathogen interaction.  Research areas include: epigenetic shaping mechanisms of plant immunity; Development of plant-pathogen interaction mechanisms and disease resistance strategies. He has published more than 20 papers in journals including Nat Commun, PNAS, Mol Plant, Cell Rep, and New Phytol.

关跃峰,广州大学教授,面向我国大豆种业振兴战略需求,主要运用大豆基因编辑技术,研究高效固氮和产量性状形成的分子基础与协同调控关系,并开展高产优质、环境友好性状的大豆精准育种。近年以通讯或共同通讯作者在Nat PlantsMol PlantNat CommunPlant Biotech J等期刊发表论文20余篇,论文总引用2000余次。

Dr. Yuefeng Guan, professor of Guangzhou University, focuses on the strategic needs of revitalizing China's soybean seed industry. He mainly uses soybean gene editing technology to study the molecular basis and synergistic regulation relationship of efficient nitrogen fixation and yield trait formation, and carries out precise breeding of high-yield, high-quality, and environmentally friendly soybean traits. He has published more than 20 papers in journals including Nat Plants, Mol Plant, Nat Commun, and Plant Biotech J. These papers has been cited over 2000 times.

刘启昆,北京大学现代农学院研究员,2014-2019年在美国加利福尼亚大学洛杉矶分校进行博士后工作。主要从事植物再生的分子机制和应用和植物表观遗传调控。以第一或通讯作者(含共同)在Nature, PNAS, Plant Cell, Nat Commun, Plant Commun, Plant Physiol等国际主流期刊发表多篇文章。

Dr. Qikun Liu, professor of School of Advanced Agricultural Sciences, Peking University, conducted postdoctoral work at University of California in 2014-2019. He works on molecular mechanisms and applications of plant regeneration and epigenetic regulation of plants. He has published many papers in journals including Nature, PNAS, Plant Cell, Nat Commun, Plant Commun, and Plant Physiol.

The aims of aBIOTECH are two-fold: First to publish seminal articles that focus the relevant research communities to achieve development of superior agroecosystems, globally. Next, to foster national and international engagement, including business, politics, and society, to build an understanding of modern agrobiotechnology/genomics-empowered strategies, which can ensure the availability of adequate nutritious foods to feed the growing global population.

Relevant topics include, but are not limited to, the followings:
TRANSGENE, GENOME EDITING TECHNOLOGIES & APPLICATIONS: Advanced transgene or genome editing technologies or methodologies; applications of transgene or genome editing in genetic improvement of agriculturally important traits, which otherwise are impossible by conventional breeding; commercialization of modified or gene-edited crops/livestock for agricultural production; safety and regulatory affairs/policies.
METABOLIC ENGINEERING: Synthesis of bioactive natural products, including study of their metabolic networks and functions, using both genetic and synthetic biology approaches.
TECHNOLOGIES FOR DISEASE CONTROL: Developmental, physiological, biochemical, and technological studies, and innovative strategies relevant to disease control in crop or livestock production systems.
GENOMICS & BREEDING: Genome, pan-genome, and metagenome studies, multi-omics data mining approaches, intelligent design breeding theory, approaches, and practice, and innovative analytical/bioinformatics tools/methods, with potential to advance crop and livestock breeding programs.
ROOT-SOIL-MICROBIOME AGROECOSYSTEMS: Targeted breeding and engineering of essential root biology and associated microbiome traits directed to enhance crop performance under sub-optimal soil abiotic and/or biotic conditions.
