The first Range Rover House in China has opened with a Range Rover Night hosted at the Beijing Guardian Art Centre, the cultural and artistic landmark adjacent to the Forbidden City.

Following the launch event, Range Rover House will showcase unparalleled modern luxury at the PuXuan Hotel, within the heart of Beijing's commercial and artistic district. Guests will experience the seamlessly integrated charm of Eastern culture fused with a modernist design ethos.

Among the installations, visual artist Tim Yip, who has achieved success in film, stage art direction, and costume design, pays homage to ‘A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains' – a masterpiece of the Song Dynasty – with his exclusively crafted work. Through contemporary design language and materials, he cleverly combines classic art with modern architecture – reflecting the timeless elegance and modern luxury craftsmanship associated with Range Rover

The activity coincides with the launch of the Range Rover Sport SV Edition One, ahead of the introduction of the Range Rover SV Bespoke personalisation service later this year.

Jacky Chen, President of IMSS, said: "For more than half a century, Range Rover has been leading the pack. New Range Rover embodies astonishing modern aesthetics and refined elegance, elevating luxury configurations, exquisite craftsmanship, and performance to unprecedented heights. At the same time, we empower clients to customise their Range Rover SV, offering endless possibilities for personalisation to establish a distinctive luxury status."

Following its China debut in Beijing, Range Rover Houses will be launched in the Greater Bay Area, East China, and Southwest China regions later this year, bringing the brand to guests and clients across the country. Range Rover SV Bespoke will officially launch in China in the third quarter, providing the ultimate in luxury personalised services.

At the peak, hand in hand with esteemed customers to explore the ‘Range Rover House'

Range Rover has been refined over more than half a century and transcends traditional luxury car definitions. Each model in the Range Rover family combines exquisite design, meticulous craftsmanship, and engineering innovation, reinforcing its status as the ultimate luxury SUV brand.

In the Chinese market, Range Rover has continuously dominated the luxury SUV segment above 1.5 million RMB for more than 10 months, capturing over 50% of the market share.

Entering a new era, Range Rover will be the guiding light in modern luxury living as showcased by Range Rover House – a global brand experiential platform exclusively accessed through private invitation, presenting brand stories and unique experiences to clients while connecting with local cultures.

Range Rover Sport SV Edition One

New Range Rover Sport SV Edition One is the modern luxury performance flagship, and is limited to 15 examples in China, with an MSRP of RMB 2,438,000.

The most powerful Range Rover model ever is powered by a new 635PS, 750Nm 4.4-litre Twin-Turbo MHEV V8 petrol engine and can accelerate from 0-100km/h in as little as 3.8 seconds, with a top speed of 289km/h. The new SV Mode surpasses the existing Dynamic Mode of the Range Rover Sport, optimising steering, eight-speed automatic transmission, throttle response, exhaust sound, and 6D Dynamics to provide an unprecedented driving experience.

New Range Rover Sport SV's highly sophisticated 6D Dynamics suspension system debuts a world-first combination of hydraulic interlinked dampers, height-adjustable air springs and pitch control for supreme driving dynamics on road and track. The revolutionary semi-active system removes the need for conventional anti-roll bars and maintains a near-flat body control during extreme cornering.

Carbon fibre materials are used extensively, including the bonnet, Range Rover emblem, front bumper blades, grille edges, side vents, interior panels and seats, contributing to a 76kg weight reduction. Pioneering 23-inch carbon fibre wheels paired with carbon-ceramic brakes reduce un-sprung mass by 70kg for sharper reactions and stronger stopping power.

Inside, Range Rover Sport SV Edition One introduces pioneering technology for an immersive sensory experience including the introduction of Body and Soul Seat – a multi-dimensional audio experience with wellness benefits. The technology allows front-seat occupants to feel the sound as well as hear it. Incorporating SUBPAC™ AI optimising software and transducers aligned to front seat occupants' backs, Body and Soul Seat analyses media in real-time, generating high fidelity audio vibrations to create the most engaging and immersive in-car audio.
