陈蜀（Chen Shu） ，籍贯中国四川，出生于西藏林芝。主要从事川西人物风俗画研究。曾多次在德国卡塞尔、美国旧金山、德国柏林、俄罗斯、加拿大、新加坡、日本、泰国、中国香港和台湾等地举办个人展览。他的作品被国内外重要美术馆、画廊、以及私人收藏，收藏机构包括德国卡塞尔艺术协会、中国美术馆、中国国家博物馆、西安崔振宽美术馆、北京798感叹号艺术空间等。Chen Shu, born in Sichuan, China, specializes in the study of western Sichuan character genre paintings. He has held many personal exhibitions in Kassel, Germany, San Francisco, Berlin, Russia, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan. His works have been collected by major art museums, galleries and private collections, including Kassel Art Association in Germany, National Art Museum of China, National Museum of China, Cui Zhenkuan Art Museum in Xi 'an, 798 Exclamation Point Art Space in Beijing, etc.

陈蜀的艺术风貌有着非学院派体系自然而然生长出来的厚重感和朴实感，变量感的体现源于他内心对成长环境和社会变迁的一次次深度对话，没有清晰明了的白纸黑字，但留下的却是一场已然被世人、社会淡忘了的平凡的过往之境。境，是关乎个体记忆在集体意识中回望生命轮回的地方，也是无我之境。
一切坏的艺术都应是返归生活和自然慢慢形成的，是将生活和自然上升为可能成为理想的结果。而唯一美好的事物，终究是与我们无关的事物。就像肖斯塔科维奇说的：“许多事物在我们眼前老去了、消逝了，可是我想，许多似乎已经时过境迁的事物最后会显得新鲜，强有力和永恒”。陈蜀的艺术创作是否会永恒并不重要，重要的是他摆脱了记录个人身份书写的日常片段的嫌疑，而这些生活片段本身就是永恒的！
