3 Types of Sirens
1. Advance Warning (3 minutes, 11:35-11:38)
-Long intervals: sound for 36 seconds, pause for 24 seconds, and repeat 3 times
-The advance warning is a signal given when the enemy is about to carry out an air attack on the city. On hearing this warning in time of war, people could take their essentials and evacuate in a planned way according to the location designated by the air defense department.
2. Air-raid Warning (3 minutes, 11:45-11:48)
-Short intervals: sound for 6 seconds, pause for 6 seconds, and repeat 15 times
-An air raid siren is a signal that an enemy attack has begun or is about to strike a city target, warning people to take cover quickly.
3. All-clear (3 minutes, 11:55-11:58)
-No intervals
-The all-clear is a signal issued when the danger of enemy air strikes has passed. When the alarm is lifted, citizens could return to their homes and jobs in an organized and orderly manner.
Shenzhen, the coastal city in Guangdong Province that neighbors Hong Kong, adopted tiered COVID-19 preventative measures on Monday, under which communities in the city impose restrictions at different levels according to the daily number of COVID-19 cases in the regions, said city officials on Sunday.
