Preface
深圳美术馆多年来致力于推动本土艺术创新与发展，关注从事传统书画的艺术家群体在作为改革开放前沿的现代化城市的成长和创作状态，通过策划组织雅集交流及展览等多种形式，提供艺术展示和学术交流平台，展现传统艺术在深圳城市文化生态中的蓬勃生机和活力。
The Shenzhen Art Museum has been dedicated to promoting local art innovation and development for many years. It focuses on artists engaged in traditional painting and calligraphy, observing their growth and creativity in a modern city at the forefront of reform and opening up. By organizing different forms of elegant gatherings, exchanges, and exhibitions, the museum provides a platform for artistic display and academic exchange, showcasing the vibrant vitality of traditional art within Shenzhen's cultural ecosystem.
东一书画院是以传播和传承中国传统书画艺术为宗旨的民间社团，成立于2014年，早期参与者主要为中国书法网及深南道书画群体骨干成员，以位于深圳龙华区东一村的工作室为基地，开展创作交流、雅集讲座、公益培训、展览策划、收藏拍卖、媒体传播等文化活动，成为在深圳乃至全国有较高知名度的专业书画艺术团体。
Dongyi Calligraphy and Painting Academy is a private organization founded in 2014, dedicated to spreading and preserving Chinese traditional calligraphy and painting. The early participants were mainly key members from China Calligraphy Network and the Shennan Dao Calligraphy and Painting Group. Based in the studio in Dongyi Village, Longhua District, Shenzhen, the academy engages in creative exchanges, elegant gatherings, lectures, public training, exhibition planning, collection auctions, and media dissemination. It has become a well-known professional calligraphy and painting art group in Shenzhen and across the country.
因声寄流水，善听在知音。历代文士一直有“或十日一会，或月一寻盟”的雅集传统，东一书画院成立十年来，依托专业网站和自媒体平台资源，与书画圈名家、师友密切联系，互动频繁。从线上到线下，经常性的临创交流、经典研读、鉴藏品评。聚集和带动了一批有志于传统书画研习的朋友，营造了一个良好的创研氛围和艺术成长环境。如切如磋，如琢如磨，东一书画院的这种雅集日常化，艺术生活化，成为当代书画社团的新南方样本。
The saying "A true understanding or appreciation requires a perceptive and like-minded person" reflects the ancient tradition of elegant gatherings among literati, who met either every ten days or monthly. Over the past decade, Dongyi Calligraphy and Painting Academy has utilized professional websites and social media resources to maintain close contact and frequent interaction with renowned figures and friends in the calligraphy and painting community. They regularly engage in online and in-person creative exchanges, classical studies, and collection evaluations. This has attracted and inspired a group of friends dedicated to studying traditional calligraphy and painting, fostering a positive environment for artistic growth and research. The academy's practice of integrating art into daily life has become a new model for contemporary calligraphy and painting associations in the southern region.
汉代刘向《说苑·说丛》有云：“贤师良友在其侧，诗书礼乐陈于前，弃而为不善者，鲜矣”。本次参展作者包括东一书画院常驻书画家，深圳及全国各地与东一书画院密切互动的师友，他们以雅集交流的形式，用书画作品展现传统文化和艺术的独特魅力，以期共同为深圳的城市文化增添动人的底色。
As the Han dynasty literati Liu Xiang wrote in "Shuoyuan: Shuocong": "With virtuous teachers and good friends by one's side, and poetry, books, rites, and music before one's eyes, it is rare to turn to unworthy pursuits." The participants in this exhibition include resident calligraphy and painting artists from Dongyi Calligraphy and Painting Academy, as well as teachers and friends from Shenzhen and other parts of the country who have closely interacted with the academy. Through the form of elegant gatherings, they showcase the unique charm of traditional culture and art with their calligraphy and painting works, hoping to contribute to the rich cultural tapestry of Shenzhen.
