On Saturday, August 24, the SCIS Pudong community came together for a vibrant Welcome Back BBQ, marking the exciting start of the new school year. The festivities started with an entertainment stage opening, showcasing the incredible talents of our students. Attendees were treated to various performances, including musical instrument showcases, dancing, and singing, all of which added to the joyful atmosphere. Guests enjoyed delicious food and refreshing drinks from renowned vendors, enhancing the festive spirit. Children had a blast at various activity stations, including a dunk tank, shallow pool soccer, a water slide, and face painting, ensuring there was fun for everyone. The warm weather set the perfect backdrop for reconnecting with friends, welcoming new families, and forging new connections within the community.
