一、中心概况
北京大学核糖核酸北京研究中心 (Beijing Advanced Center of RNA Biology（BEACON）, RNA中心）是2023年依托北京市政府成立的、立足挂靠于北京大学生命科学学院的科研实体研究机构，致力于开发世界前沿RNA技术，服务国家生命健康和先进农业的重大战略需求，解决现代医学与农学应用领域重大问题。
RNA中心主任为北京大学讲席教授、生命科学学院院长、美国科学院院士陈雪梅教授。中心自成立以来，面向全球广泛延揽人才，大力引进能够引领国际前沿RNA生物学发展的高水平科研专家，目前已经初步建立了擅长且能够胜任中心技术与产业任务的团队。同时，依托单位北京大学为RNA中心提供相对集中和充足的科研空间，北京大学生物学学科已运行中的重大科研平台为RNA中心提供师资力量雄厚、专业配置齐全的辅助支撑。RNA中心作为北京市RNA研究领域人才培养特区，将凝聚多个实验室紧密合作，实行国际化的招聘和管理制度，为科研人员提供良好的科研与应用平台。
二、招聘研究方向：
北京大学核糖核酸北京研究中心面向海内外公开招聘核糖核酸领域的高层次人才，重点方向包括：
1. RNA精准操控技术（具体包括但不限于RNA修饰、RNA递送、RNA编辑和靶向RNA小分子操控等底层共性技术的研究）
2. 在农业领域，申请人需重点攻关牧草苜蓿增产和小麦病害防治，具备将RNA技术应用于这些领域的实际经验和潜力。
3. 在医疗领域，申请人需重点开展老年痴呆症和癌症的治疗研究，能够利用RNA技术提出创新的治疗方案或改进现有治疗方法。

Ⅰ. BEACON Overview
Beijing Advanced Center of RNA Biology (BEACON), Peking University, is a scientific research entity established in 2023 with the support of the Beijing Municipal Government. Based within the School of Life Sciences, Peking University, BEACON is dedicated to developing cutting-edge RNA technologies, serving the national strategic needs in biotechnology for health and advanced agriculture, and addressing significant issues in modern medicine and agricultural applications.
The Director of BEACON is Prof. Xuemei Chen, an endowed professor at Peking University, Dean of the School of Life Sciences, and a member of the United States National Academy of Sciences. Since its establishment, BEACON has actively recruited talents from around the world, focusing on bringing in high-level scientific research experts who can lead the international frontier development of RNA biology. BEACON has established a team skilled and competent in executing its technological and industrial missions. Meanwhile, Peking University, as the supporting institution, provides BEACON with relatively concentrated and ample research space. The significant research platforms already in operation within Peking University's Biology discipline offer robust faculty support and comprehensive professional resources for BEACON. Ⅱ.Recruitment Research Directions
BEACON, Peking University, is openly recruiting high-level talents in the field of ribonucleic acid (RNA) from both domestic and international sources, with a focus on the following key directions:
1. Precision Manipulation Technologies for RNA (specifically including, but not limited to, research on fundamental and common technologies such as RNA modification, RNA delivery, RNA editing, and small-molecule-targeted RNA manipulation).
2. In the field of agriculture, applicants are required to prioritize research on increasing the yield of alfalfa hay and preventing wheat diseases, possessing practical experience and potential in applying RNA technology in these areas.
3. In the medical field, applicants are required to focus on therapeutic research for Alzheimer's disease and cancer, capable of proposing innovative treatment plans or improving existing treatment methods utilizing RNA technology.
