哈罗上海化身为充满活力的地球村，在盛大的国际日活动中，学校成为全球文化的交汇中心。这一年一度的盛事汇聚了学生、教师、家长及社区朋友，共同体验丰富多彩的文化与传统庆典，既庆祝多元文化，也彰显团结一心的社区精神。
活动以振奋人心的国际旗帜巡游启幕，来自幼儿园、小学及中学部的学生自豪地挥舞着代表世界各国的旗帜，分享了他们的文化身份，共同庆祝了构成哈罗上海社区独特魅力的多元背景。
主大厅的互动展台和文化体验让整个世界近在眼前。学生们参与了丰富多样的活动，如面部彩绘、书法、瑞士文化摊位，以及由学院主导的慈善捐赠。在学习与支持他人的过程中，他们培养了谦和和互助精神，同时思考如何通过微小善举为社区带来积极影响。
亮点之一是家长和老师志愿者们设立的各式美食摊位，展示了20多个国家和中国各省的传统美食。从英国饼干、美国汉堡和薯条、日本关东煮和寿司、法国奶酪、澳大利亚烤肉、西班牙小吃、韩国辣年糕、爱尔兰炖菜，
到中国东北冻梨、四川辣串、广东酸梅汤和西北烤羊肉等，每道美食都包含历史与文化。
这些美食摊位不仅为学生带来了味觉盛宴，还为他们提供了一个通过美食探索不同文化的机会的契机，拓宽了全球视野。
此外，还有一系列有趣的互动活动：以澳大利亚为主题的拍照点、美国电影角、马达加斯加的动物和传统手工艺品展示等，乐趣纷呈。这场“环球世界”的旅程，尽在哈罗上海！
如此精彩的国际日活动，离不开家长和教师社区的奉献与支持。他们的热情参与彰显了哈罗上海大家庭中紧密而深厚的社区关系。

Harrow Shanghai became a global village today, as International Day turned our school into a vibrant hub of cultures from around the world. This annual highlight brought together students, teachers, parents, and friends for a day full of lively activities and traditions that celebrated both our diversity and the joy of uniting as one community.
The day began with an inspiring international flag parade, where students from Early Years, Primary, and Upper School proudly carried flags representing countries from all over the world. Each student shared a piece of their cultural identity, celebrating the unique backgrounds that make the Harrow Shanghai community so special.
Following the parade, the celebrations continued in the main lobby, where interactive booths and cultural experiences brought the world to life. Students ran activity stations, including face painting, calligraphy, Switzerland culture stall and House charity donation, fostering humility as they learned and supporting others. These moments encouraged students to reflect on the needs of their community and the positive impact of even the smallest acts of kindness.
One of the highlights was the incredible array of food stalls set up by dedicated parent and teacher volunteers, representing over 20 countries and provinces of China. From British biscuits, American burgers and fries, Japanese oden and sushi, French cheese, Australian BBQ, Spanish tapas, Korean spicy rice, Irish Stew, to Dongbei frozen pears, Sichuan spicy skewers, Guangdong sour plum soup and Xibei-style roast lamb and etc. —each dish told a story.
The food stalls offered not only a feast for the senses but also an opportunity for students to explore diverse cultures through cuisine, deepening their connection to our global family.
The day also featured an array of fun, interactive activities, including an Australian-themed photo booth, an American movie corner, and traditional handcrafts, providing students with engaging ways to connect and create lasting memories. All in all, it was a whirlwind journey around the world, all without leaving Shanghai!
Days like these wouldn’t be possible without the dedication and support of our parent and teacher community, whose involvement reflects the strong, close-knit relationships within our Harrow Shanghai family.
