1、本期特刊上发表的所有论文享有30%的文章出版费（APC）折扣。

This special issue encourages motivated researchers to submit papers on topics related to new AC-DC power system protection methodologies, system integrity protection schemes, and new protection schemes for both AC and DC systems.
Topics of interest for this Special Issue include, but are not limited to, the following aspects:
• Developing new protection schemes for AC transmission and distribution systems
• System integrity protection schemes for low-inertia power systems
• Protection of future power system components
• Advanced protection concepts and methodologies based on protective relays and synchrophasors
• MTDC interoperable real-time supported protection concepts
• Data-driven and AI/ML-based techniques for disturbance detection and classification
• Adaptive protective relaying
