Our client is a leading hedge fund with top tier track record for 10+ years, based in HK and investing in global technology. Because of business expansion, they are now hiring a trading intern/ trade support/ junior execution trader, depending on qualification and experience.
Responsibilities
Daily execution of trades, covering Asia, Europe and the US.
Trading cash equities, SWAPs, baskets, options, futures, etc. via low-touch, DMA, algo and high-touch.
Providing market news/ data/ color to PMs.
Performing pre- and post-trade checks to eunsure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
Sourcing hard-to-borrow inventories, blocks, etc.
Working closely with operaitons, compliance and other teams to ensure smooth settlement and controls.
Qualifications
MUST be proficient in Mandarin / Cantonese, and English.
MUST have a degree from a reputable university.
MUST be outstanding in coding, e.g. Python and C++.
Trading related experience of less than 5 years.
Good understanding of equity and derivative markets.
Good knowledge of trading systems and analytical tools, e.g. Bloomberg, Enfusion and WIND.
Strong communicaiton and inter-personal skills.
Ability to work in a very high-pressure and fast paced environment.
