Job Summary


Technical Support Engineer

Customer support, testing and calibration of flow measurement meters and systems. Provide support other departments as needed.



Key Responsibilities


  • Technical support on our legacy products through  phone, email and other communication channels

  • Support sales team with technical related issues, help sales team to select the proper product model or recommend the optimal system solution for client’s application

  • Provide on-site service to customers for  installation supervision, programming and training. May need 10-20% travel

  • Manage and maintain the return (RMS) products. Develop, maintain and monitor procedures for all support cases

  • Conduct hardware/software testing and lab  calibration

  • Meter assembly including wiring batteries, PCB potting and solder iron connection

  • Assist engineering, manufacturing and S&H as needed.


Required skills



  • Electronics, hardware, software  or mechanics

  • Electronic testing, software testing. Familiar with MS Office

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Associates or higher degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar experience


Desired skills



  • Customer-phone technical assistance experience. Informative and proactive customer support

  • Soldering experience

  • Strong problem solving, organization and analytical skills

  • Being sensitive to international customers whose primary language is not English. Speak Chinese is a plus.

Other information about the job

  • Requires pushing carts and pallet jacks from time to time

  • Might require working outside normal company hours to support international customers.
