On October 26th, Gwadar Port hosted the 3rd opening day event for students, inviting 27 students delegation from Gwadar Faqeer Girls Middle School to visit.
The delegation first visited the ship docking wharf, where they marveled at the wharf's comprehensive handling capabilities for bulk and general cargo, containers, and roll-on/roll-off cargo.
Next, they toured the Gwadar Free Zone. Upon seeing the scale model of the Gwadar Port and the Free Zone, they became extremely excited and full of anticipation for the future development of Gwadar Port.
In the tissue culture laboratory and greenhouses, they saw dozens of economic crops suitable for local cultivation that were cultivated in the laboratory, and expressed their desire to participate in this work in the future, hoping to improve the local ecological environment through their own hands.
At the Gwadar Business Center, students experienced a variety of sports and cultural facilities and watched promotional films about Gwadar Port and the Free Zone in the multi-function hall, gaining a deeper understanding of the port and Free Zone's important position in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and their significant functions in promoting trade and connectivity.
At the end of the event, COPHC presented gifts to the students. All teachers and students highly appreciated the Gwadar Port Opening Day event organized by COPHC and hoped to participate more in COPHC's social responsibility activities.
The "Gwadar Port Open Day" event is an important social responsibility activity initiated by COPHC since 2023. By inviting local teachers and students to visit the port and the Free Zone, it aims to help more children understand China and enhance the traditional friendship between the peoples of China and Pakistan.
