2024年3月8日，瓜达尔港举行航道维护疏浚项目竣工仪式，瓜达尔港务局、中国港湾工程有限责任公司、中国海外港口控股（巴基斯坦）有限公司的领导以及瓜达尔各界代表参加仪式。
On March 8, 2024, the Completion Ceremony for Maintenance Dredging Navigation Channel project was held at Gwadar Port. Leaders from the Gwadar Port Authority, China Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., China Overseas Ports Holding (Pakistan) Co., Ltd., and representatives from all walks of life in Gwadar attended the ceremony.
瓜达尔港航道疏浚工程项目由中国港湾工程有限责任公司承建并于2023年4月7日正式开工。项目竣工后，瓜达尔港的航道将达到14米深度，足以容纳5万吨以上大型船舶，将进一步提升瓜港的吞吐能力。
The Gwadar Port Maintenance Dredging Navigation Channel project was undertaken by China Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. and officially started on April 7, 2023. After the completion of the project, the channel of Gwadar Port will reach a depth of 14 meters, which is enough to accommodate large ships of more than 50,000 tons. This will further enhance the throughput capacity of Gwadar Port.
