As part of the "Charming Cities Tour", Suzhou has showcased its vibrant mix of innovation, global integration and cultural heritage.
Two key stops in the tour, Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) and Taicang, highlight the city’s role as a leader in international collaboration and technological progress.
At SIP’s AI Experience Center, visitors were introduced to over 50 cutting-edge AI exhibits spanning industries like manufacturing, healthcare, tourism and finance.

Jiangsu Biosurf Biotech Company shared its groundbreaking work in hydrophilic coating technologies for medical devices, significantly alleviating patients’ pain and financial burden.
The SIP One-stop Service Center further underscores Suzhou’s global vision. Serving over 20,000 expatriates, it offers streamlined services across 70 categories, fostering a welcoming environment for international residents.
Jean-François Vergnaud, a French Sinologist and educator, praised Suzhou for its inclusivity and balance between modern development and cultural preservation. His efforts in Sino-French collaborations on aging and food safety exemplify the city's thriving international partnerships.

In Taicang, known as the “Home of German Enterprises”, the focus shifts to Sino-German cooperation.
The AHK Academy and Sino-German Dual System Vocational Education Industrial Park exemplifies this with its pioneering dual-education model, training skilled professionals in seven technical fields.
The SEE German Enterprise Service Station is a flagship initiative aimed at creating a smooth, safe, and satisfying business environment. It provides streamlined services and resolves business challenges efficiently, serving as both a bridge for government-enterprise communication and a platform for cultural exchange.

The Taicang SEE German Enterprise Service Station features many representative items of German culture.

The Taicang Roundtable (TRT), established in 2006, connects 136 member companies, 95 percent of which are German. Regular meetings between business leaders and government officials foster effective dialogue and partnerships.
Companies like IMS Gear (Taicang) Company thrive with strong government support and over 500 foreign enterprises in Taicang, while Brotecke Bakery provides an authentic cultural touch, connecting German expatriates to their roots.
From AI innovation and global services in SIP to Sino-German collaboration in Taicang, Suzhou exemplifies how innovation, internationalization, and tradition coexist harmoniously.
The "Charming Cities Tour" continues to uncover more of Suzhou’s unique allure.
