从周一开始的「鸡同鸭讲 Bridging Babel」快闪艺术驻地将在今天进入尾声。12位背景各异的艺术家在7天密集的驻地创作中碰撞出了怎样的火花？今晚7点，我们在福州路318号，与你分享这些新作品的种子。
The flash arts residency "Bridging Babel" wraps up today after beginning on Monday. What exciting sparks have burst from the collaboration of 12 artists from diverse backgrounds over these intense seven days? Join us tonight at 7:00 PM at 318 Fuzhou Road as we share the seeds of these new works with you.
前言
FOREWORD
语言起源于哭泣。
随着最后一滴无声眼泪的消亡，创造话语的金丹从炉中析出，人类第一次开口：“Aidez-moi”/“Help me"/" 救我"。对危险的哭诉，召唤出独属于人的强烈情感，也创造出新的危险——被误解的表达。
人们用语言，诉说爱与恨，创造概念，虚构故事。它被流通，也被禁止。我们偏执地赋予语言意义，从我们狭小的窥视镜里。它成为桥梁，也制造阻碍。
透过语言的棱镜，我们的情感被折射成各种各样的形状、声音和触感。我们渴望一种理解，为所有人类所创造。欢迎你的到来，在这个鸡同鸭讲的世界里，与我们一同尝试，重建巴别塔。
Language originated from our deepest cries.
As the last drop of silent tears fades away, the elixir of expression is born, and humanity speaks for the first time: “Aidez-moi” / “Help me” / “救我.” In this heartfelt plea for help driven by the fear of danger, we summon the intense emotions that are uniquely human, but also create new vulnerabilities—expressions that may be misunderstood.
Through language, we articulate love and hate, forge concepts, and weave stories. It flows freely yet can be stifled. We obsessively imbue words with meaning, peering through our narrow lenses of perception. Language becomes a bridge, yet it can also create barriers.
Through the prism of language, our emotions refract into a myriad of shapes, sounds, and sensations. We yearn for an understanding that binds all of humanity. Welcome to this exploration of expression. In this cacophonous world of discord, let us join together in an attempt to rebuild our own Tower of Babel.

继与北京歌德茶馆计划的成功合作后，盘上海很荣幸今年与德国驻上海总领事馆文化教育处合作，进驻上海歌德开放空间举办2024盘上海快闪驻地计划。德国驻上海总领事馆文化教育处通过歌德开放空间的框架，为新锐艺术家和民间团体提供支持。
歌德学院是德意志联邦共和国在世界范围内积极从事文化活动的文化学院。借助由歌德学院、歌德中心、文化机构、阅览室以及语言学习及考试中心构成的网络，我们从事对外文化和教育交流的工作。我们乐意面对全球化带来的文化和政治方面的挑战，人们应该生活在一个视文化多样性为财富并能相互理解的世界中，为了这个目标，我们将带来更多的创新。德国驻上海总领事馆文化教育处负责歌德学院在上海及周边地区的工作。
Following the success of collaboration with the Beijing Goethe Institut Tea House, PAN Shanghai are teaming up with AKuB's Shanghai location to bring programming to the Goethe Open Space. The Department of Culture and Education of the German Consulate General (AKuB) in Shanghai supports emerging artists and civil society within the framework of the Goethe Open Space program.
The Goethe-Institut is the Federal Republic of Germany’s cultural institute, active worldwide. We promote the study of German abroad and encourage international cultural exchange through out network of libraries and information centres, forums for discussion, diverse print-, audio- and video-publications and our visitors' service. Goethe-Institut monitors trends in Germany and encourages cultural collaboration across the globe by organising programmes of events and making contributions to various festivals and exhibitions in the fields of film, dance, music, theatre, literature and translation.The Goethe-Institut is the Federal Republic of Germany’s cultural institute, active worldwide.
