1. University Profile
Our university is one of the National Project 211 Universities, the Midwest Universities Comprehensive Strength Promotion Project and the Co-built by the Ministry of Education of China and the People’s Government of Henan Province. Our university entered the ranks of the National World - Class Universities. With full facility of four campuses, we have at present nearly 2,700 international students.
The medical education of our university started from 1928 and the clinical medicine is one the National World – Class disciplines. With its 10 affiliated hospitals, we have 36 national key clinical specialties, 149 provincial clinical specialties, 30,000 patient beds and the outpatient number reached 1.78 million. We have 2 national drug clinical research bases and therefore was listed as the national doctor training university. In 2017 Study in China — The First Clinical Thinking and Skills Competition for International Medical Students in China, we won the First Prize Title in General, and “the Excellent Team Award”, “the Best Team Cooperation Award", "the Excellent Award for Internal Medicine" and "the Excellent Award for Pediatric Skills".


2. March Intake English Taught Pre-bachelor Programs (Duration: One Semester)
Pre-bachelor’s（foundation）Program in Science & Engineering / Business / Management
The program enables international students to consolidate their foundation in science/business/management and related majors which will also facilitate the improvement of academic and professional English, as well as day-to-day Chinese language skills. It also lays a strong foundation for international students enabling them a smooth transition from high school to the International Economy & Trade，Tourism Management, Civil Engineering or Software Engineering program. 
After passing the final exam of this program (90% students can pass according to experience), students can choose to study 4-year English taught Bachelor International economy & trade/Tourism Management/Civil Engineering/ Software Engineering program with scholarship in ZZU.
3. September Intake English Taught Bachelor Programs
Civil Engineering / Software Engineering / Tourism Management / International Economy & Trade Duration: 4 Years 
4. Fee Structure for International Students
1) Tuition of Pre-bachelor Program: CNY 5,000 per semester
2) Tuition of International Economy & Trade, Tourism Management Program: CNY 23,000 per year. Excellent students have good chance to get scholarship type A = tuition free; type B = CNY 18000/year, which means after scholarship you may need to pay 5000yuan tuition. (Note: In case no enough students to open tourism managent class, students may be adjusted to study International Economy & Trade)
3) Tuition of Civil Engineering/Software Engineering Program: CNY 25,000 per year. Excellent students have good chance to get scholarship 20000-25000yuan/year.
4) Accommodation (Double room): CNY 15-30/day or you can choose to live off-campus once get school permit
5) Residence Permit: CNY 400~800 / time
6) Medical Check-up: CNY 500~1,000 / time; 
7) Medical Insurance: CNY 400 per semester

2025 March Intake: November, 2024 ~ Jan 1, 2025
Note: (If the seats are not full, the deadline may be postponed; if seats full early, then close early)
6. Eligibility
1). Non-Chinese citizen; Minimum of high school graduate (or equivalent).
2). 18~22 years old before sep. 2025 (The applicant aged under 18 years old has to provide The Letter of Guardian’s Authorization which authenticated by the embassy.)
3). The average score of mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology in senior high school: 70% above (if apply for pre-bachelor programs).
Note: The requirements for students from different nationalities or for different majors may be slightly different, please confirm with the counselor before apply for students.
7. Application Documents
1) Ordinary Passport (pages with photo and address) 
2) Original and English Translated High School Diploma (or the equivalent proof)
3) Original and English Translated High School Transcripts (or the equivalent academic transcripts) 
4) English Certificate such as IELTS / TOEFL / DUOLINGO (if you have no such English Certificate, then please apply pre-bachelor course with other English certificate and a 2-min self-introducation video in good English speaking)
5) Physical Examination Report
6) Original and English Translated Certificate of Non-criminal Record
7) Personal Statement (400-800 words) in English or Chinese
8) Application Form (word version, not PDF)
9) Applicant's Photo (with white background)
10) Statement of Financial Support
