Application Requirements:
1. Age 18-30
2. Healthy, non-Chinese
3. Good GPA(better GPA15+/20) with good score in physical, chemical, math and biological
4. IELTS 5.5/TEFOL 80 or join school english test online
(1)【Application Form】Application form signed by the applicant.
(2)【Passport copies】Copies of the applicant’s and parents’ passports. (Must include information page.If the applicant or his / her parent was already within the border of China, he / she should provide latest valid Chinese VISA, and all entrance / exit stamps.)
(3)【Parent-Applicant Identification】Proof of legal relationship between the applicant and his / her parents, such as birth certificate, household register booklet and parent-child notification certificate – notarized after April 1, 2023.
(4)【High School Diploma】and【Transcripts】High school diploma and transcripts including grades from all years.
(5)【Language Proficiency Certificate】IELTS5.5, TOEFL80, etc. (Results should be from exams taken within two years of application). if no such certificate, need to join our online Egnlish exam.
(6)【Personal statement】Including a self-introduction, past study experience and study plan in China. 400+ word
(7)【Recommendation Letters】Two recommendation letters from JNU overseas admission agencies, a respected member of an overseas Chinese community organization, or the student’s high school principal and a teacher.
(8)【Certificate of No Criminal Conviction】Applicants must provide a valid certificate of no criminal record issued by the government department of their country of nationality. This certificate should be issued within six months prior to the registration date.
(9)【Physical examination report】Applicants for medical majors must also submit a physical examination report from the past six months.
【Note】:
1. All application documents provided by any overseas institutions should be certified by the Chinese embassy or consulate in the applicant’s country of residence and must be translated into Chinese if it is in another language.If the country issuing the document is a contracting party to the Convention on the Cancellation of the Certification Requirements for Foreign Official Documents by China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, only the country's additional certificate (Apostille) needs to be processed, without the need for consular authentication from the country or the Chinese embassies or consulates in the local area. All documents not in Chinese must be translated into Chinese by a qualified translation agency.
2. Except for Personal IDs (ID card, passport, residence permit etc.,) and unique copies, all the above materials (including notary / authenticated certificates and the related additional certificate ‘Apostille’) must be submitted in their original documents.
3. A document of more than one page with contents on both sides should be scanned continuously and submitted as one PDF file.
4. When you submit the documents above, all e-copies should be valid and visible; your application may be declined if any documents are missing or not genuine. The hard copies of the documents such as passports, birth certificate,household register booklet, residence permits and, diplomas, etc., and the original copies of all other application materials, which mentioned above are both requested to mail to Undergraduate Admissions Office of Jinan University
