教学指定参考资料是根据教师的要求提供给学生使用的图书馆资料。为了让更多学生能更快地使用到与课程相关的资源，因此教学指定参考资料只供短期借阅。
Course reserves are library materials made available to students at the request of faculty. Items in the Course Reserves are for short-term loan only, so as to expedite circulation and increase student’s accessibility to course related resources.

首先需要在图书馆书目检索系统（https://opac.xjtlu.edu.cn）中检索教学指定参考资料。

You can also use your module title, module code or department to find Course Reserves items for your class in the “Curriculum” via the Library Catalogue System.
在搜索结果页面，确认所需的教学指定参考资料是否可借，如果可借需记录索书号或定位信息。教学指定参考资料的馆藏地显示为“SIP Floor 3 - Course Reserves”或“Taicang Floor 1 - Course Reserves”。
Check the availability of the Course Reserves item you want and find out its call number or 3D Bookshelf Layout. The location of the Course Reserves items is “SIP Floor 3 - Course Reserves” or “Taicang Floor 1 - Course Reserves”.

通过索书号在图书馆流通服务台申请借阅教学指定参考资料。
Request a Course Reserves item at the Library Circulation Desk by call number.
借阅期限 Loan Period
教学指定参考资料必须在借阅当日图书馆流通服务台关闭前归还。
Course Reserves items must be returned before the Library Circulation Desk closing hours on the borrowed day.
借阅数量 Loan Quota
每个账户最多允许借阅2本教学指定参考资料。
Only 2 Course Reserves items may be requested for each account.
续借、预约和委托借阅 Renewal, Reservation & Inter-Branch Delivery
教学指定参考资料不提供续借、预约以及委托借阅服务，先到先得。
Course Reserves items are not allowed to be renewed, reserved or requested between different campuses. First come, first served.
“ 如何归还教学指定参考资料？”
请在图书馆流通服务台归还教学指定参考资料，请勿归还至自助借还机。
Course Reserves items must be returned to the Library Circulation Desk. Please do not return to self-borrowing and returning machines.
违约金 Fines
考虑到教学指定参考资料的需求量较大，因此适度提高违约金，以督促借阅者能按时归还。所借教学指定参考资料若未按时归还，将按照每本每天0.5元人民币的标准处以违约金。
Due to the great demand foritems in the Course Reserves, fines are high in order to deter borrowers fromkeeping materials past the due date and time. 0.5 RMB peritem per day will be charged for any overdue Course Reserves item.
“ 注意 / NOTE ”
当账户内有超期未归还的教学指定参考资料时，您将无法使用图书借阅服务直至您归还图书。如果您长期占用教学指定参考资料且不归还，严重影响他人使用教学指定参考资料的权利，您将会被限制借阅教学指定参考资料。同时，图书馆会将此情况报告给学生事务办公室，并反馈给课程负责人。
When Course Reserves items are overdue, your borrowing privileges will be blocked until you return them. If you continue to deprive others of Course Reserves materials by keeping them overdue, you may be barred from all Course Reserves checkouts. You may also be reported to the Student Affairs Office, and your name may be given to the course instructor.
