Five PhD scholarships available in the following areas :
Topic 1: Self-powered neuromuscular structures (vibration energy harvesting and control)
Topic 2: AI-assisted designing and modelling of bio-inspired structures (vibration isolation)
Topic 3: Bio-inspired skeletal systems (vibration isolation and quasi-zero-stiffness vibration isolation)
Topic 4: Additive manufacturing of novel vibration isolation systems
Topic 5: AI-powered machine condition monitoring and fault diagnosis
Scholarships valued at AUD37,000 per year for 3 years (up to 3.5 years) & tax-free.
Basic requirements
1. Degree and experience in relevant fields (such as applied mathematics, applied mechanics, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, mechatronic engineering).
2. English: IELTS 6.5 (band minimal 6.0), or TOEFL 79 (R/W 16, S18, W21).
3. UTS’ PhD admission requirements.
