世界綠色組織是香港特別行政區核準慈善機構。為提高各界對全球環境問題的關註，世界綠色組織於2013年推出「可持續發展目標 – 綠色辦公室獎勵計劃」，以包括水電能源、廢物處理、環境管理、教育意識、綠色創新等範疇推動辦公室在日常營運「變綠」。符合要求的機構將獲授予「綠色辦公室」和「健康工作間」標誌，以及有聯合國標誌的證書。
World Green Organization is a recognized charity in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. To raise awareness of global environmental issues, World Green Organization launched the Sustainable Development Goals - Green Office Awards Labelling Scheme (GOALS) in 2013 to promote the "greening" of office operations in the areas of hydroelectric energy, waste management, environmental management, educational awareness and green innovation. Organizations that meet the requirements are awarded the "Green Office" and "Eco-Healthy Workplace" labels and a certificate with the UN logo.
本次得到世界綠色組織的肯定，主要得益於近年JATO Design製定了一套行之有效的綠色能源標準，包含機電節能、低碳采購、廢品處理等多個維度。
This recognition by the World Green Organization is largely due to the fact that JATO Design has developed a set of proven green energy standards in recent years, encompassing multiple dimensions such as electromechanical energy conservation, low-carbon procurement, and waste product disposal.
在這套標準的指引下，JATO團隊通過製定公司內部設備節能辦法、增加照明系統環保標簽、減少一次性產品的使用、選擇符合環保要求的供應商、通過香港政府環保署指定的回收公司回收電氣和電子廢物等方面進行日常提升，並季度性在團隊內部明確目標及實施方法，以確保措施的可實施性及提升性。
Guided by these standards, the JATO team has made daily improvements by developing ways to save energy in the company's internal equipment, increasing the eco-labeling of lighting systems, reducing the use of disposable products, selecting suppliers that meet environmental requirements, recycling electrical and electronic waste through recyclers designated by the Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department, and clarifying goals and implementation methods within the team on a quarterly basis to ensure feasibility and improvement.
This year, JATO Design was honored to receive this award alongside multinational companies such as Shell, Canon, Ernst & Young and China Unicom. For the team, this is a recognition of JATO's long-standing practice of green concepts and environmental responsibility, and represents JATO Design's efforts to strengthen its social responsibility in all aspects beyond its design expertise.
Nowadays, the concept of sustainable development and green environmental protection has become a global consensus. For JATO, the green concept is not only reflected in the daily office spaces, but is also integrated into every project designed by JATO. While creating inspiring experiences, we continue to use energy and materials to interpret the concept of low carbon and people-centeredness in the design of each project.
