The Data Science and Analytics (DSA) Thrust of the Information Hub is now looking for capable candidates with a career aspiration in academic and student affairs to fill the position of Assistant Officer / Officer (Student Affairs, Publicity, and Administrative Support).  

岗位职责 / Duties

The appointee will provide administrative support in the DSA Thrust, HKUST(GZ). The main duties include but not limited to the followings: 

1. Support research postgraduate student affairs and registry-related tasks within the thrust, including operating and maintaining student-related systems, following up on student matters, and completing data analysis and report preparation as required;

2. Maintain effective communication with various departments, addressing inquiries related to daily student affairs and academic activities both within and outside the thrust;

3. Assist with thrust’s events, including but not limited to admissions, student activities, and academic conferences;

4. Support the thrust’s external communications and promotion, such as writing press releases, drafting posts for social media, maintaining the website, and coordinating with design vendors;

5. Provide logistic support in the Thrust daily operation, including but not limited to the reimbursement, procurement, document preparation, booking, etc;

6. Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
   

1. 负责本学域研究生学生事务及教务相关工作，包括操作及维护学生相关系统、跟进及沟通学生事务等，并按要求完成数据分析和报告编制;

2. 与各相关部门保持良好沟通，负责学域内外关于学生事务以及教学工作的答疑;

3. 协助学域举办各项活动，包括但不限于招生、学生活动、学术会议等；

4. 协助学域进行对外宣传，如撰写新闻稿、起草公众号文章，维护网站、对接设计供应商等；

5. 为学域日常运作提供后勤支持，包括但不限于报销、采购、文书撰写、预订安排等工作；

6. 主管交办的其他任务。

任职要求 / Requirements

1. A master’s degree or above, with at least one year of work experience, preferably in academic institutions;

2. Strong team player with excellent communication skills, high sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and service consciousness;

3. Ability to multitask effectively, strong self-motivation, and meticulous working habits;

4. Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese;

5. Experience in publicity and managing social media platforms is a plus;

6. Good data analytical skills and high computer proficiency, including good knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of Adobe design software is a plus.

1. 硕士或以上学历，并有至少一年工作经验，有高校或教育机构工作经历者优先;

2. 拥有良好的团队合作精神与沟通能力，具有高度的责任感、保密意识和服务意识;

3. 具有同时处理多项任务的能力，且自驱力强，工作细致；

4. 精通中英文书面和口语表达；

5. 有宣传推广和管理社交媒体平台工作经验者优先考虑；

6. 具备良好的数据分析能力和较高的计算机操作水平，包括熟练使用MS Office办公软件；熟悉Adobe等设计软件者优先。
