早上9:15，大二同学们准时在D2007教室集合，领取了学院精心准备的迎新礼包。
Year 2 students gathered at room D2007 to collect their meticulously prepared welcome packages at 9:15 a.m.

Welcome Speech by Dean
物联网学院院长Matilda Issac 博士以她热情洋溢的欢迎致辞，为同学们描绘了新学期的蓝图，鼓励大家以饱满的热情和积极的态度迎接即将到来的挑战。
The Dean of School of Internet of Things, Dr. Matilda Issac delivered an inspiring welcome address, painting a vivid picture of the upcoming semester and encouraging students to face the challenges with enthusiasm and positivity.

Taicang Campus Introduction
学院行政经理葛婉雍详细介绍了太仓校区的设施、特色以及丰富多彩的学生活动。
School Manager Wanyong Ge provided a detailed overview of the Taicang campus facilities, characteristics, and the array of student activities.

All staff members attended to greet the Year 2 students and shared their reaserch areas and their teaching modules.

学院本科专业负责人胡斌涛博士深入浅出地讲解了本科专业的课程结构和学术项目，为同学们在物联网工程专业未来的学习进行规划。
Dr. Bintao Hu, the Program Director, explained the undergraduate module structure and academic projects, planning for students' future studies in IoT.

学院技术经理刘常溧详细介绍了学院的现有实验室及工作空间，并强调了实验室的相关政策和管理规定。
School Technical Manager Changli Liu introduced the existing labs of the school one by one and emphasized relevant policies and regulations.

成长顾问邱鑫艳向大家介绍了她们的日常工作，并为同学们提供了校园生活的一些实用指南。
DA Xinyan Qiu introduced the role of Develoment Advisor, and provided students some useful tips of campus life.

随后，同学们通过自我介绍，相互认识，增进了彼此之间的了解。
Then students introduced themselves to each other, getting to know one another and strengthening mutual understanding.

Campus Tour
下午同学们首先参观了图书馆，在图书馆工作人员的讲解下，熟悉了图书借阅流程和丰富的藏书资源。之后，同学们参观了体育中心，了解了馆内的各项运动设施以及预约订票规则。
n the afternoon, the students first visited the library, where they became familiar with the book borrowing process and the rich collection of resources under the guidance of the library staff. Following this, they toured the sports center, learning about the various sports facilities available and the rules for booking.

Shaxi Ancient Town
9月6日上午，同学们乘坐大巴前往沙溪古镇。品尝当地美食， 游览沙溪古镇，漫步在古色古香的街道上，聆听历史的回声，欣赏传统建筑的魅力。
On the morning of September 6th, the students boarded a bus to Shaxi Ancient Town. They tasted the local cuisine, toured Shaxi Ancient Town, strolled through the quaint streets, listened to the echoes of history, and admired the charm of traditional architecture.

最后，同学们参观了太仓博物馆，深入了解了太仓的历史文化和发展变迁。
At last, students toured Taicang Museum, gained a deeper understanding of Taicang’s historical and cultural development.
