School of IoT Industry Visit to MEMSensing
2024年9月24日，在张文章, 杜婷婷和钱琴老师的带领下，西交利物浦大学物联网工程专业无线传感器网络（Wireless Sensor Network）课程的大四学生前往苏州敏芯微电子技术股份有限公司进行参访。此次参访旨在加深学生对MEMS传感器产业的认识，拓宽视野，为今后的职业生涯积累宝贵经验。
On September 24, 2024, under the guidance of teachers Wenzhang Zhang, Tingting Du, and Qin Qian, IoT students in the module of Wireless Sensor Network visited MEMSensing Microsystems (Suzhou,China)Co.,Ltd. The purpose of this visit was to deepen students' understanding of the MEMS sensor industry, broaden their horizons, and accumulate valuable experience for their future careers.

Production Space Exploration
首先，在工作人员的带领下，师生们参观了生产车间，了解了公司的发展历程、生产流程以及生产规模。同学们对生产环节中的智能化、自动化设备表现出浓厚的兴趣。随后，公司负责人为我们详细介绍了敏芯微电子的基本情况。据悉，该公司是全球为数不多掌握多品类MEMS芯片设计和制造工艺能力的公司。同学们认真聆听，对公司在行业内取得的成就表示赞叹。
Firstly, the faculty and students arrived at the first-floor production space. Led by the company staff, students toured the production workshop, learning about the company's development history, production processes, and production scale. The students showed a strong interest in the intelligent and automated equipment in the production process. Subsequently, the manager provided a detailed introduction to the basic situation of MEMsensing. This company is one of the few in the world that masters the design and manufacturing of multi-category MEMS chips. Students were all ears, in awe of their industry-leading success.

Testing Space Experience
接着，师生们来到了二楼测试空间。在这里，同学们参观了芯片测试实验室，了解了芯片测试流程及各项测试标准。实验室里的测试设备先进，测试人员专业，让同学们对微电子行业的高标准、严要求有了更深刻的认识。大家纷纷表示，此次参观让他们对所学专业有了更加直观的了解，为今后的学习和研究指明了方向。
Next, the faculty and students moved to the second-floor testing space. Here, the students visited the chip testing laboratory, learning about the chip testing process and various testing standards. The advanced testing equipment and professional testing personnel in the laboratory gave the students a deeper understanding of the high standards and strict requirements of the microelectronics industry. Everyone agreed that the visit gave them a more intuitive understanding of their major, providing direction for future study and research.

随后，师生们来到了五楼展厅。展厅内展示了公司历年来的科研成果和荣誉证书，同学们驻足观看，不时发出赞叹。此外，展厅还陈列了公司研发的芯片产品，同学们通过与实物近距离接触，进一步感受到了微电子技术的魅力。公司技术总监及相关领域专家现场解答了同学们提出的疑问。同学们积极发言，就专业内容、实习就业、行业发展等问题与专家进行了深入交流。专家们耐心解答，给出了许多宝贵建议，使同学们受益匪浅。
Then, the faculty and students went to the exhibition hall on the fifth floor. The hall displayed the company's scientific research achievements and certificates of honor over the years, which the students observed with admiration. In addition, the exhibition also showcased the chip products developed by the company. Through close contact with the physical objects, the students further felt the charm of microelectronics technology. Finally, there was a Q&A session with experts. The company's chief technology officer and experts in related fields answered the students' questions on the spot. The students actively spoke up and had in-depth exchanges with experts on professional content, internships, employment, and industry development. The experts patiently answered and gave many valuable suggestions, which greatly benefited the students.
此次参访活动在愉快的氛围中圆满结束。通过此次参访，同学们对物MEMS传感器产业有了更深入的了解，对企业实际生产过程和研发环境有了直观的认识，为今后投身相关微电子行业奠定了基础。
The visit concluded in a pleasant atmosphere. Through this visit, the students gained a deeper understanding of the MEMS sensor industry and had a direct perception of the actual production process and research and development environment of enterprises, laying the foundation for their future engagement in the microelectronics industry.
