9月8日，物联网学院在西浦创业家学院（太仓）开放日活动中举办了一系列丰富多彩的体验项目，吸引了近百名大一新生前来参与。
On September 8, IoT held a series of exciting experiential activities during the school’s open day, attracting nearly a hundred Year 1 students to participate.
活动以院长Matilda博士的欢迎辞拉开帷幕。随后，董彧佶博士介绍了学院整体情况，让同学们对物联网工程课程有了更深入的了解，以及未来物联网工程的就业前景。
The event kicked off with a welcome speech from the dean, Dr. Matilda. Following that, Dr. Dong Yuji introduced the overall situation of IoT, providing students with a deeper understanding of the IoT engineering program and its future education.
物联网学院在读学生也分享了他们的宝贵经验，为大一新生提供了实用的建议和指导。
Students in Y3 and Y4 also shared their valuable experiences, offering practical advice and guidance for the newcomers.
之后的物联网实验室及工作空间沉浸式互动环节，是最受瞩目的。大一新生与老师们一起走进智能家居模拟空间和智慧医疗工作空间，探索如何打造智慧生活的未来；通感一体工作实验室：无人机群展示了先进物联网技术的应用；云赋能物联网无线通信实验室：了解无线通信的信号传输等基础概念，让同学们领略到前沿科技的魅力；网络实验室：让学生初步探索了网络传输的魅力。整个活动中，同学们认真听讲，面对面与老师互动交流，展现了浓厚的学习热情与好奇心。
One of the highlights was the immersive interactive session in the IoT labs and workspace. Year 1 students joined faculty in exploring smart home and smart medical workspaces, discovering how to create a smarter future; the drone demonstration showcased applications of advanced IoT technology; and presentations on wireless communication and transportation allowed Year 1 students to appreciate the allure of cutting-edge technology. Throughout the event, Year 1 students attentively listened and engaged in face-to-face interactions with faculty, displaying a strong enthusiasm for learning and curiosity.
