This talk explores the potential of digital humans to transform education by offering: Personalized Learning: Tailored learning paths that adapt to each student's pace, strengths, and weaknesses. Step-by-Step Guidance: Digital tutors can break down complex concepts and provide on-demand, interactive explanations. Understanding the Student: By analyzing student interactions, Teacher 2.0 can identify areas of confusion and adjust its approach accordingly. Ubiquitous Support: Learning becomes location-independent, offering 24/7 access to guidance and support. Holistic Development: Beyond academics, digital tutors can address student well-being and offer support for mental health throughout their studies. This talk will discuss the exciting possibilities of Teacher 2.0, while also acknowledging potential challenges and ethical considerations.

主讲人介绍
Dr YANG received the PhD degree in computer science from the Hong KongPolytechnic University, in 2021. She is currently an assistant professor with the Schoolof Computing Science and Technology, Shandong University. She visited the Media Labat MIT in 2019 as a visiting scholar. Her research interests include wireless sensing, pervasive and mobile computing, and Internet of Things. She has published more than30 papers in top academic conferences and journals, e.g., ACM UbiComp, IEEE TMC, IEEE TON. She is the recipient of 2023 ACM SIGAPP China Rising Star Award.

His research interest includesIndustrial Quality Inspection, Deep Generative Model, Federated Learning. Heis the Young Editorial Board Members of “Advanced Manufacturing” Journaland the Journal of “Wuhan University (Natural Science Edition)”. He is also the CIKM2024 PC Member, ECAI2024 PC member, and ICDCS2024 PC Member (Big Data Track). He has been published over 40 papers in top-tier journals, such as IEEE TMC, TNNLS, TCYB, TCBB, TCSVT, T-ASE, ACM TOMM, PR, NN,etc.
