主讲人介绍
Professor Xiaohui Tao is a leading academic at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia, where he leads the Computing Discipline, chairs the ICT Programs’ Governance and Leadership Committee and previously directed the Master of Data Science, Master of Information Technology, and Master of Science programs. Dr. Tao's research in Artificial Intelligence includes data analytics, machine learning, natural language processing, AI in education, and health informatics. With over 200 publications, he leads a research group focused on innovative algorithms with real-world applications. He has supervised ten doctoral candidates and received the Australia Research Council Grant and Australian Endeavour Research Fellowship. A Senior Member of IEEE and ACM, Dr. Tao is the Deputy Chair of IEEE's Technical Committee of Intelligent Informatics and Editor-in-Chief for Elsevier's Natural Language Processing Journal. He completed his PhD in Information Technology from the Queensland University of Technology in 2009.

主讲人介绍
Professor Qiang Shen received a PhD in Computing and Electrical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in 1990 and an Honorary DSc in Computational Intelligence from Aberystwyth University in 2013. He holds the Established Chair of Computer Science and currently, serves as Pro Vice-Chancellor for the Faculty of Business and Physical Sciences at Aberystwyth University. Qiang is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and a Fellow and Council Member of the Learned Society of Wales. He had the honour of being selected as a London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay torchbearer, in celebration of Alan Turing’s centenary. Additionally, he served as a panel member for two consecutive UK Research Excellence Framework (REF) exercises in 2014 and 2021, on Computer Science and Informatics. Qiang is the recipient of the 2024 IEEE Fuzzy Systems Pioneer Award. He has authored 3 research monographs and about 500 peer-reviewed papers. His publications include many outstanding journal articles and best conference papers, which are directly related to the subject matter discussed in this presentation.
