创作此类题目的主要原则是平衡好工作业绩和生活节奏(balance work performance and pace of life)之间的关系；例如人们在工作方面参考的指标是更快更好地履行自己的任务，提升办事效率，这也就回答了题目中的第一个小问题——为什么人们会要求自己和他人在第一时间把手头工作做完。但同时大家感同身受的是，快餐式的工作模式(instant work patterns)势必造成质量的不稳定或下滑，后期可能还会反复、多次地去弥补它。

In contemporary society, it seems that everyone with an ambition, from freelancer to foreman at giant corporations, demands matters to be solved instantly; So much so that many people neglect the detrimental impacts of this phenomenon. As a matter of fact,. a couple of worrisome effects would ensue when people turn to a summary approach for handling problems.
To begin with, the core of this trend lies in the nature of this industrialized society we live in. Every department is pigeonholed to fulfill its unique tasks, and every personnel is responsible for his duties to be completed sooner rather than later. In a given period of time, the staff who can finish the greatest share of assignment would be considered as the most competent by the superior. Even the employee himself is eager to trouble-shoot all the difficulties expediently so that he wouldn’t need to work overtime. Gradually the index of finishing all sorts of work with the least time is what everyone in a work environment pines for. What’s more, after people return home from work, their mindset might become even more anxious, as they are hell-bent on reviving their depleted body. That’s why they have no intention of waiting a second for their pizza delivery to arrive, viewing commercials before live streaming services on their screen, etc. People hold this pristine thought that as long as they can complete their daily chores fast enough, everything would start afresh the next morning.
The more pertinent question is, what should we make of this instantaneous style? In my opinion, a non-partial perspective is the right approach for assessment. On one hand, everyone has his own potentials to be exploited, and sometimes an extra push from outside can activate our hidden aptitude, making us excel in whatever endeavors we are embarking on. That sensation of adrenaline rush is what drives innovation and social reforms in many nations throughout our history. On the other hand, everything worthy of doing in life takes time and patience. Imagine someone working on a project, if he is constantly rushed to the deadline, chances are high that he will miss key elements and whatever conclusion he reaches would be futile in the end. Therefore, for our own skill improvement and others’ work proficiency, we ought to allow a little margin of error and wait until every component about a task comes in handy.
In sum, modern era dictates that people always bring out their top-notch game level. But quantitative parameters must come with thoughtful quality inspection. Patience is the ingredient that never goes out of style when we brew a pot of fine wine.
