The School of Social Sciences Graduate Union has always been committed to serve our students, striving to create a better academic and living environment for the entire student community. In previous Deans Reception Days, Graduate Union actively participated and provided students with timely and effective support, helping to address and resolve issues related to daily life, academic affairs, employment, and more.
In order to gain a better understanding of students’ academic and daily life needs, the School of Social Sciences plans to hold this semester’s Deans Reception Day at 14:30 on Friday, December 20th, in Room 1102 of the Third Teaching Building. By then, the school’s deans will discuss with students and respond to suggestions and feedback regarding both campus life and academic affairs.
This is a platform dedicated to creating a better campus life for students. It ensures that every student’s concerns can be heard, and every issue can be properly addressed.
We sincerely invite all students to actively share your valuable suggestions, contributing your wisdom to the development of the school and the growth of your peers.

Express Your Voice:
This is your opportunity to put forward suggestions and opinions regarding your academic and daily life experience. We want to hear your voice and work together to create a better learning environment.
Influence the School’s Development:
Your feedback, collected through the questionnaire, will be directly conveyed to the school’s deans, positively influencing the future direction of the School of Social Sciences.

We value every student’s experience. No matter how big or small the issue, your feedback will help us build a more human-centered learning and living environment.

Purpose of the Event
To share your experiences related to academic and daily life with the school leadership and discuss the challenges or suggestions based on your personal needs.

Event Process
Step 1: Students can sign up to participate in the event by completing the online School of Social Sciences Feedback Collection Survey. Deadline for registration: December 17.
Step 2: The organizing team will review every survey, consolidate similar proposals, and invite relevant students to attend the Leadership Reception Day with their proposals.
Step 3: Invited students will have face-to-face discussions with the school deans, sharing their academic and personal experiences and presenting relevant suggestions and requests. Each student will have approximately 5 minutes to speak.
Proposal topics include, but are not limited to:
1. Academic Development
• Course Design and Quality: Share your thoughts on the current course structure. Are there courses that could better support your professional development? Are the current courses manageable? How is the course quality?
• Teaching Methods and Resources: Do you have suggestions for improving teaching methods? Is there a need for more practice opportunities or learning resources that better align with real-world issues?
• Internship and Practice Opportunities: Are there additional internship or practice courses you’d like to see? What support can the school provide for your career planning?
2. Cultural and Sports Activities
• Suggestions for cultural and sports activity resources
3. Mental Health and Counseling
• Suggestions for improving mental health and counseling services. Do you need more support or access to such resources?
4. General Services
• Other topics beyond the above, such as student organizations, international services, or day-to-day life needs.
Note: The School of Social Sciences Feedback Collection Survey is a regular platform for students to raise issues regarding their rights and well-being.

Event Date and Location
The event is scheduled for December 20 (Friday) at 2:30 PM, in Room 1102, Third Teaching Building.
