为帮助国际生更好地规划职业发展路径，清华大学材料学院、化工系、化学系三院系联合于2024年11月3日成功举办了国际生国内求职沙龙。本次沙龙邀请了清华大学学生职业发展协会的讲师刘嘉欣，为国际生们讲解国内求职规划，以及国际组织和企业的工作机会。此外，沙龙还包括了求职简历投递和笔面试技巧等内容。通过现场分享与互动，同学们不仅了解了如何更好地规划未来的职业发展，也获得了切实可行的求职建议。

刘嘉欣讲师在沙龙中强调了职业规划的关键性。她指出，首先要明确自己想要从事的领域，认清自己的能力和性格特点，了解哪些职业与之匹配。在求职过程中，刘讲师建议同学们首先进行自我分析，例如通过MBTI等工具了解自己的个性特质，然后根据个人的职业目标制定短期、中期和长期的职业计划。她还提醒大家在规划中需要留意工作和生活之间的平衡，例如是追求高薪还是更加自由的生活方式，这些选择会影响到未来的职业决策。
Lecturer Liu Jiaxin emphasized the importance of career planning during the salon. She pointed out that first, it is crucial to determine the field you want to work in, recognize your abilities and personality traits, and understand which careers match you. In the job-seeking process, Liu suggested that students first conduct self-analysis, such as using tools like MBTI to understand their personality traits, and then formulate short-term, medium-term, and long-term career plans based on their career goals. She also reminded everyone to pay attention to the balance between work and life in planning, such as whether to pursue a high salary or a more relaxed lifestyle, as these choices will influence future career decisions.

在求职方法方面，刘嘉欣详细介绍了如何有效地申请国内外的工作机会，特别是国际组织的职位。她建议国际生们充分了解目标企业或组织的背景和要求，并有针对性地准备简历和面试。她还强调了“求职三要素”：清晰的个人目标、有效的沟通技能和专业知识的不断积累。对于简历的撰写，刘讲师建议大家突出与目标职位相关的经历，不必罗列所有经历，而是着重展示最能体现个人能力和适合度的部分。
Regarding job-seeking methods, Liu Jiaxin gave a detailed introduction on how to effectively apply for job opportunities at home and abroad, especially in international organizations. She suggested that international students fully understand the background and requirements of target companies or organizations and prepare resumes and interviews accordingly. She also emphasized the "three key elements of job hunting": clear personal goals, effective communication skills, and continuous accumulation of professional knowledge. For resume writing, Liu advised everyone to highlight experiences related to the target position, rather than listing all experiences, focusing instead on those that best demonstrate personal abilities and suitability.
沙龙中还涉及了同学们获取职业信息的实用渠道。对于国内求职App缺少英语版带来的语言理解困难，刘嘉欣建议国际生查看所在院系的官网或微信群，因为许多工作信息会在院系微信群中发布。此外，刘讲师也鼓励大家尝试申请在华的外资企业或具有国际业务的国内大企业，因为这些公司通常更为看重国际化的视野和语言能力。
In addition, the salon covered practical channels for obtaining job information. Regarding language barriers, Liu suggested that international students use the Tsinghua University website or departmental WeChat groups, which regularly post job information related to international students. She also encouraged everyone to try applying for foreign-funded enterprises in China or domestic companies with international business, as these companies often value international perspectives and language skills.

During the interactive session of the salon, students actively asked questions, covering various topics ranging from internship opportunities to balancing academics and job hunting. Some students mentioned language barriers during the job search process, especially with some recruitment platforms lacking English versions. Liu Jiaxin suggested finding information through relevant school resources. Additionally, some students were concerned about the importance of internships, especially regarding visas and companies' acceptance of international students. Liu stated that the Tsinghua University Career Development Center (CDC) can provide relevant support for international students, such as recommending internship opportunities or providing guidance to help them navigate the job search process more smoothly.
