This Special Collection aims to explore the rapidly evolving landscape of emerging technologies in the construction industry, focusing on their management, implementation, and impact. The collection will provide a comprehensive overview of cutting-edge technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and 3D printing, and their applications in construction projects. It will investigate the challenges and opportunities associated with integrating these technologies into existing construction processes, as well as their potential to revolutionize project management, collaboration, and productivity. The collection will also address the organizational, cultural, and skill-related aspects of technology adoption in the construction sector. By bringing together research from academia and industry, this Special Collection seeks to advance our understanding of emerging technology management in construction and provide valuable insights for practitioners, researchers, and policymakers alike.

All articles in this Special Collection will undergo peer review in line with the journal's standard peer review policies. All submissions to this collection will be subject to an Article Processing Charge (find more info here). Authors may be eligible for a discounted APC through our Open Access Agreements.
