Event Abstract:
Digital Biomarkers, or quantifiable measures obtained from digital devices that are used to explain or predict health outcomes, have far reaching applications, from telemedicine to supporting clinical trials. With this highly sensitive data and its predictive capabilities, it is critical that digital biomarkers are developed responsibly: using interpretable models and transparent techniques. In this talk, Dr. Bent will share emerging research on digital biomarkers and discuss best practices for their responsible development and usage.
