🌙每晚8点哄孩子入睡
If you could stay little forever, I’d sing you a lullaby every night, gently rocking you to sleep.
但那样我就听不到你学会唱歌的样子，听不到你那稚嫩而动听的歌声呀！
But then I’d miss the day you learn to sing, hearing your sweet, soft voice fill the room.
如果你一直都这么小，我会牵着你的小手，带你走遍每一个地方。
If you stayed little, I’d hold your tiny hand and take you everywhere.
但那样我就听不到你自豪地对我说：“妈妈，我可以自己走啦！”
But then I wouldn’t hear you proudly say, “Mom, I can walk on my own!”
如果你一直都这么小，我会亲亲你磕破的小膝盖，把痛痛都吹走。
If you stayed little, I’d kiss your scraped knees and blow away all the pain.
但那样我就不会看到你学着坚强，摔倒了拍拍灰尘自己站起来。
But then I’d never see you grow strong, brushing off the dust and standing back up on your own.
如果你一直都这么小，我会一直守在你身旁，把你保护得严严实实。
If you stayed little, I’d stay right by your side, keeping you safe and sound.
但那样我就没法看到你爬上树梢，开心地喊：“妈妈，你看我多高！”
But then I’d miss the joy of seeing you climb a tree, shouting, “Look, Mom, I’m so high!”
如果你一直都这么小，我会给你挑选好看的衣服，把你打扮得整整齐齐。
If you stayed little, I’d pick out pretty clothes and dress you up so neatly.
但那样我就没法看见你穿着自己挑选的衣服，笑得眼睛都眯成了一条缝。
But then I’d miss the sparkle in your eyes when you wear the outfits you picked yourself.
如果你一直都这么小，我会切各种小星星、小月亮的面包给你当零食。
If you stayed little, I’d cut your sandwiches into stars and moons for every snack.
但那样我就听不到你兴奋地喊：“妈妈，葡萄蘸番茄酱，真好吃！”
But then I’d never hear you cheerfully discover, “Hey, grapes with ketchup taste great!”
如果你一直都这么小，我会每天睡前给你讲故事，让你在梦里也感到温暖。
If you stayed little, I’d read you a story every night, filling your dreams with wonder.
但那样我就不会看到你自己拿着小书，学着拼拼读读，念出第一个故事给我听。
But then I’d miss seeing you pick up a book and proudly read me a story on your own.
如果你一直都这么小，我会推着你的小车车，带你去看外面的世界。
If you stayed little, I’d push you around in your stroller, showing you the world.
但那样我就看不到你自己骑上小自行车，风一样地飞驰而过。
But then I’d miss the thrill of watching you pedal away on your bike, laughing as the wind whooshes by.
如果你一直都这么小，我会帮你找到几个可爱的伙伴，让你不会觉得孤单。
If you stayed little, I’d pick out a few sweet friends so you’d never feel alone.
但那样我就看不到你自己交到的朋友，看到你们笑得像阳光一样灿烂。
But then I’d miss seeing you make your own friends, laughing and shining like the sun.
如果你一直都这么小，我会和你一起画手指画，弄得手上脸上都是五颜六色。
If you stayed little, I’d finger paint with you, covering our hands and faces in colors.
但那样我就错过了你挥舞小画笔的样子，错过了你画出属于你自己的小小世界。
But then I’d miss watching you pick up a brush, creating your own little world on paper.
如果你一直都这么小，我会推着你的小鸭游泳圈，陪你在水里玩个痛快。
If you stayed little, I’d hold onto your ducky float, splashing in the pool with you.
但那样我就看不到你勇敢地游开，像一条小鱼儿，在水里快乐地扑腾。
But then I’d miss the proud moment you swim away on your own, splashing like a little fish.
如果你一直都这么小，我们会在用被子搭的小“城堡”里一起做白日梦。
If you stayed little, we’d build blanket forts and have cozy dreams together.
但那样我就听不到你给我讲的故事，讲你在外面露营时看到了多少星星。
But then I’d miss the joy of hearing your tales of camping, counting the stars up in the sky.
如果你一直都这么小，我会轻轻托着你的脚丫，让你飞得高高的。
If you stayed little, I’d lift you up high, so you could soar like a bird.
但那样我就错过了你自己仰望天空的样子，错过了你小小的眼睛看到的蓝天和白云。
But then I’d miss seeing you gaze up at the sky, watching the blue and the clouds in your own way.
如果你一直都这么小，我会把你留在身边，时时陪着你不放手。
If you stayed little, I’d keep you close, never letting go of your hand.
但那样我就会错过你慢慢长大，错过你勇敢、自由，照着自己的心意去长成你想要的样子。
But then I’d miss seeing you grow up brave and free, becoming exactly who you want to be.
宝贝呀，妈妈会一直陪在你身边，看你一点一点地长大。
Sweetheart, I’ll always be right here, watching you grow little by little, every single day.
