According to the China Textile City Construction Management Committee, the total transaction volume of China Textile City exceeded 400 billion yuan in 2024, marking a year-on-year increase of 11.09%.

At the Innovation Center of Zhejiang Dongjin New Material Co., Ltd. (Dry-Tex), researchers were busy testing the performance of a newly developed fabric in the laboratory. "This recently developed anti-see-through fabric, created in collaboration with experts from Donghua University, boasts a UPF rating of 500 and an anti-transparency index exceeding 97%. It has already been supplied to brands such as Anta and Kailas, receiving widespread acclaim," said Xie Pingping, Deputy Director of the Innovation Center. As a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, and sales of functional fabrics for outdoor sportswear, Dry-Tex has significantly enhanced its development efficiency through the Innovation Center. In 2024, the company achieved a 30% year-on-year increase in sales revenue.

Over the past year, China Textile City has undergone an even more striking transformation. Key projects, such as Phase II of the Shuiyunfangdu (Textile Capital's Water Town Charm) and the China Textile City Digital Logistics Port, progressed efficiently. Major platforms, including the China Textile City Fabric-to-Clothing Platform and the International Designer Brand Center, have officially launched. Prestigious events like 2024 the 7th World Textile Merchandising Conference and the 2024 WGSN Futures event were successfully held. At the same time, the "Silk Road Keqiao · Fabrics that Cover the World" initiative has been comprehensively advanced, while over 50 fashion-forward events, including brand launches, design exhibitions, forums, salons, and Milan Day have been organized.

Today, Keqiao is capitalizing on its unique strengths in industry, markets, and innovation to fuel the rapid growth of its fashion and creative industries. Talent is flocking to the district, with 17 Weft-Warp Designers recognized last year, including three ranked among China's top ten fashion designers. So far, 12 of them have officially established businesses in Keqiao. Meanwhile, fashion platforms continue to thrive, with the Sino-Italian Future Fashion Innovation Center and the Zhejiang branch of the China Textile Information Center offering robust support for industry services.
如今，柯桥立足“产业+市场+科创”的独特优势，时尚创意产业蓬勃发展。时尚创意人才加快集聚，去年共评定经纬设计师17人，其中中国十佳时装设计师3人，目前已经正式落户柯桥开设公司的有12人；时尚平台快速发展，中意未来时尚创新中心和中纺信息中心浙江分中心稳扎稳打开展产业服务工作。
To date, the Keqiao Textile Industry Creative Design Base is home to 356 companies, including 127 industrial design firms, and has attracted over 1,140 professional designers. The base generated 433 million yuan in design service revenue in 2024, reflecting a 6.1% year-on-year increase and underscoring its impressive achievements.
截至目前，柯桥区纺织工业创意设计基地入驻企业356家，工业设计企业127家，招引专职设计人才1140余人。2024年，基地企业设计服务性营收达4.33亿元，同比增长6.1%，交出靓丽答卷。
As 2025 marks the final year of the 14th Five-Year Plan, our district is setting its sights on a "Year of Enhancing Capacity Through New Productive Forces". Keqiao will stay dedicated to transforming and upgrading the textile industry, advancing the "Five Major Centers", and converting its core strengths—textile markets, textile industry, and textile innovation—into "Three Strategic Hubs". These efforts aim to position Keqiao as a model county for common prosperity.
2025年是“十四五”规划的收官之年，接下来，我区将以“新质提能年”为总抓手，坚定纺织产业转型升级不停步，全力推进“五大中心”建设，加速推动“纺织市场、纺织产业、纺织科创”三大优势转化为“三个高地”，助力柯桥打造共富示范县域标杆。
