8-ISPMF conference
8th International Symposium on Phytochemicals in Medicine and Food (8-ISPMF) to was held in Shenyang, China on August 2-7, 2024. 8-ISPMF is co-organized by the International Association of Dietetic Nutrition and Safety (IADNS), Phytochemical Society of Europe (PSE) and the Phytochemical Society of Asia (PSA). Over 500 scientists and students from 40 counties have registered to attend this conference. The international organizing committee and scientific committee board of 8-ISPMF assembled an exciting and diverse program, featuring 17 plenary lectures, 37 invited lectures, 61 oral presentations, a student forum consisting of 107 short lectures, and poster presentations, which dedicate to creating a stage for exchanging the update research results in the phytochemicals for food and human health.

The presenters on 8-ISPMF are invited to contribute to this special issue. The scope of this special issue is clinical, pharmacological, pharmacokinetic, and toxicological studies of phytochemicals in medicinal plants and Food.
