🌟 Flute cave and Elephant Trunk Hill

Today, the local guide will pick us up from the Guilin airport. You may take any flight arriving before 12 am.

We will then hop on our private bus and drive (∼1h) to the reed flute cave. The cave got its name from the type of reed growing outside, which can be made into flutes. We will spend about 45 minutes exploring the cave. Get ready for Stalactites and stalagmites but also some amazing colorful lights! 😊

Then we will then drive (∼30min) to the Elephant Trunk Hill. Located at the confluence of the Li River and the Peach Blossom River,  the hill looks like a big elephant trunk, hence the name.

In the evening, we can gather for a group dinner (not included) and get to know each other. 

Stay overnight in Guilin.

Guilin <> Longji rice terraces

🌟 Longji rice terraces 

This morning after breakfast, we will then drive (∼2.5h) to Longji rice terraces.

Today will be an exciting day if you've been looking forward to some real countryside views as well as discovering the local minority's life. 

We will take an easy walk around the famous Longji Rice Terraces and hike up to the summit of Longji (Dragon's backbone) to enjoy the wonderful views. The graceful curve of the terrace is just like ribbons winding to the sky.

On the way, we will visit Pingan Zhuang Village and learn about the local Zhuang and Yao communities. 

In the afternoon, we will drive back to Guilin.

Guilin> Yangshuo

🌟 Xingping ancient town, Fisherman, Laozhai Mt 

After breakfast, we will be picked up by our private bus to drive 1 hour to the Xingping ancient town.

After walk around the town, We will be delighted to invite an senior fisherman to join us near the river to perform the famous local bird fishing, and we will likely to get some great photos for this symbolic image of China. 

In the afternoon, we will climb up the Laozhai mt (which is much less visited comparing with the overly commercialized Xianggong mt), 40mins one way up, bit challenging but totally worth the effort when you reach the top and see the view. 

Stay in a local nice hotel for the night.

Yangshuo > Guilin

🌟 Moon mountain, biking

Today will be the last day of our trip. 

We will start with a chill biking tour (~2h) along the Yulong river, also visit Moon Mt. If you feel like it, you may have a quick swim in the river. But it might still be a bit cold haha 

In the afternoon, we will drive to the airport. You may take any flight after 16h.

Cancellation fee

- Between booking and 15 days prior to departure: 300rmb 

- Between 15 and 5 days prior to departure: 2000rmb

- Between 4 and 1 days prior to departure: 50% of the price

- On departure day or no-show: 100% of the price

Cancellation Policy

If the weather is really bad and represents a risk to people's safety, we could cancel the trip up to 1 day in advance. The deposit would be fully refunded. Note that we are NOT responsible for flight cancellation fees. This would need to be dealt with the airline company directly. 

All forms of outdoor recreation (including hiking) have a higher level of risk than most ordinary activities.

By participating in M2adventure's hike, you acknowledge and accept the responsibility for making your own determinations as to the suitability of the activity and for their own safety, conduct, and well-being and agrees to participate solely at your own risk.

M2adventure, its organizer & hike leaders will not be held responsible for any loss or injury which you may sustain as a result of your participation in any of these activities.
